To learn more, visit InvoiceCloud.com.Research Analyst - Account-Based Intelligence Location: Hyderabad Department: Revenue Operations Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview We’re hiring a Research Analyst to run deep, account-based research that accelerates Sales and Marketing. You will build evidence-first dossiers on target accounts using AI tools and publicly available sources, translate findings into actionable guidance for go-to-market teams, and continuously improve the research engine—process, quality, speed, and impact. You’ll partner closely with SDRs, Account Directors, and Marketing to make better, faster decisions on where and how to win. What you’ll do
  • Own end-to-end account research. Produce concise executive briefs, org/power maps, buying-center analyses, technology fingerprints, procurement timelines, and risk/modernization signals for named accounts.
  • Follow a standard research workflow to ensure consistency and completeness: entity resolution → portal discovery → billing/payments or disbursements flow → core systems → contracts/procurement → scale indicators → stakeholder power map → modernization signals → validation & confidence.
  • Integrate outputs into Salesforce. Publish findings as CRM notes, custom objects/fields, and dashboards; maintain a structured data layer (JSON/CSV/Excel) that Sales and Marketing can query and reuse.
  • Instrument quality & speed. Hit clear SLAs and accuracy targets with multi-layer QA checks; maintain an audit-ready Evidence Log with sources, dates, and key observations.
  • Quantify opportunity fit. Apply a transparent fit-scoring model (contract timing, digital maturity, pain signals, scale, competitive presence) and explain the “why” behind the score.
  • Continuously improve the research engine. Standardize templates and playbooks; automate repetitive steps; fine-tune prompts/agents; run retrospectives and A/B tests to raise signal-to-noise and reduce cycle time.
  • Collaborate and communicate. Run lightweight intake via tickets, confirm scope, share interim signals, and deliver crisp, presentation-ready summaries and links that are easy to consume in pipeline and account reviews. How you’ll make the process better
  • Playbooks & templates: Maintain living templates for briefs, power maps, and stakeholder summaries; evolve checklists based on feedback and misses.
  • AI-assisted workflow: Orchestrate AI agents for web discovery, enrichment, summarization, and de-duplication; standardize prompt libraries and guardrails.
  • Automation & data plumbing: Partner with RevOps/IT to connect data sources, build lightweight scrapers where appropriate, and push structured outputs into Salesforce with minimal human handoff.
  • Metrics that matter: Track SLA adherence, research cycle time, accuracy, and GTM adoption; run monthly “quality circles” to remove bottlenecks. What you’ll bring
  • 2–5 years in market research, competitive intelligence, sales ops/enablement, consulting, or GTM strategy.
  • Tool fluency: Salesforce (objects/reports/dashboards), ZoomInfo (or similar enrichment), LinkedIn/Sales Navigator, web research, and AI tools/agents (LLM-assisted discovery, summarization, extraction). Experience with Python/SQL for light automation is a plus.
  • Systems curiosity: Ability to decode a target’s public tech stack and procurement motions from websites, filings, help centers, code artifacts, and board/RFP materials.
  • Evidence-first mindset: You cite sources, timestamp findings, and separate facts from signals.
  • Communication: Tight writing, sharp visuals, and the knack for distilling complexity into crisp, decision-ready bullets. Nice to have
  • Experience supporting account-based sales/marketing programs at B2B SaaS or payments/fintech companies.
  • Familiarity with utility/government or insurance ecosystems, including portals, billing/payments flows, disbursements/refunds, and core systems research patterns.
  • Exposure to web scraping, document parsing, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau/Power BI).
