Job Summary:
Application Testing Team
You will architect and lead the implementation of next-generation test automation that leverages:
Architect cloud-native, self-healing automation ecosystems powered by Agentic AI and RAG architectures to drive autonomous test generation and scalable execution
This role combines hands-on technical excellence with strategic leadership, directly impacting our ability to deliver high-quality retail solutions at speed.
Strategic leadership and Architecture
- Design and architect enterprise-grade test automation frameworks incorporating GenAI, self-healing capabilities, and agentic testing principles
- Define and drive the QA automation roadmap, technology stack, and best practices across the organization
- Lead evaluation and adoption of cutting-edge AI-powered testing platforms (TestRigor, Testim, Mabl, Tricentis)
- Establish testing maturity standards aligned with TMMi or similar frameworks
- Mentor and upskill QA engineers and SDETs on modern automation practices and GenAI technologies
GenAI and Intelligence Automation
- Agentic AI Architecture: Architect GenAI-powered workflows using LangChain and RAG to autonomously generate and execute test suites via natural language interfaces.
- Intelligent Resilience: Develop self-healing automation with ML-based element detection that adapts to application changes without human intervention.
- Smart Strategy: Design intelligent test prioritization systems using machine learning to drive risk-based testing and optimize execution efficiency.
Framework development and engineering
- Architect scalable, maintainable automation frameworks for UI (Playwright/Selenium), API (REST/GraphQL), mobile (Appium), and integration testing
- Develop robust test suites in
Python
(primary) with AI/ML libraries and modern testing tools - Ensure framework extensibility across web, mobile, cloud, and IoT layers
- Implement advanced patterns: Page Object Model, Screenplay, BDD with Cucumber
- Build custom testing accelerators and internal developer tools
Quality and continuous improvement:
- Design cloud-native test infrastructure on AWS
- Implement containerized test execution using
Docker
and orchestration with Kubernetes
- Integrate test automation deeply into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Build parallel execution strategies for faster feedback loops
- Implement observability and monitoring for test infrastructure (Grafana, Prometheus)
- Validate data pipelines, ETL processes, and streaming architectures
- Ensure compliance and accuracy for food safety, labor regulations, and retail standards
Quality and continuous improvement:
- Establish code review processes for test scripts with strict quality standards
- Monitor test execution metrics, analyze flakiness, and drive reliability improvements
- Optimize test performance, execution time, and resource utilization
- Provide comprehensive documentation, training programs, and knowledge transfer
- Foster a culture of quality engineering and continuous learning
Job Location & Schedule:
- This job is an onsite job at Logile Bhubaneswar Office.
- It is expected that the selected candidate will be available to work with some hours of overlap with US working times
Required Skills & Experience:
10+ years
in QA/Test Engineering with at least 5 years in Architect or Lead roles
- Proven track record of building enterprise test automation frameworks from scratch
- Experience leading and mentoring QA/SDET teams
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Expert-level proficiency in Python
(mandatory for AI/ML testing) – including libraries like pytest, requests, pandas, numpy- Strong programming skills in
Java
or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Deep expertise with
Playwright
(strongly preferred), Selenium, or Cypress - Experience with
mobile automation
(Appium) - Extensive experience testing
REST APIs, GraphQL
, and microservices architectures - Strong knowledge of
data streaming/ETL pipeline testing
(Kafka, Spark, Airflow) - Database testing experience (SQL, NoSQL, data validation)
- Performance and load testing of APIs
- Multi-cloud expertise across
AWS
- Proficiency with

containerization and Kubernetes
orchestration - Strong CI/CD pipeline integration experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
- Experience with
AI-powered test platforms

Preferred Skills:
- Advanced AI Engineering: Expertise in Model Context Protocol (MCP), autonomous testing agents, and fine-tuning LLMs for custom testing solutions.
- Quality Governance: Experience establishing Testing Centers of Excellence using TMMi/CMMI frameworks and ISO compliance standards.
- Specialized Testing Stack: Proficiency in Visual AI , performance (k6/JMeter), observability (Grafana), and security testing.
- Tooling & Innovation: Ability to build internal testing accelerators, developer tools, and automated compliance checks.
Compensation and Benefits:
- The compensation and benefits associated for this role is benchmarked against the best in industry and job location
- Standard shift: 1 PM – 10 PM (shift allowance applicable as per role).
- Shifts starting after 4 PM: Eligible for food allowance/subsidized meals and cab drop.
- Shifts starting after 8 PM: Eligible for cab pickup as well.
