Product Operations Specialist
to join our central Product Operations team in India. This role is pivotal in enabling product excellence across the organization by streamlining data processes, operationalizing product strategy, and driving roadmap clarity. You will support Product Management, Client Success, and Technical teams, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, regulatory standards, and go-to-market readiness. The ideal candidate will champion data-driven decision-making, manage tooling integrations, and foster cross-functional collaboration to enhance customer alignment and product utilization across Norstella’s portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Prod Ops Decision Support
- Analyse product usage trends using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and SQL to generate actionable insights that inform product strategy and performance.
- Support KPI alignment and dashboard strategy across product lines.
- Conduct post-launch analysis and recommend next steps using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and SQL.
- Respond to ad hoc analytics requests and guide stakeholders on best practices for data usage and dashboard configuration.
- Partner with commercial and product engineering teams to create joined up “value-delivery” analytics representing the complete arc of Norstella’s product business.
- Product Ops Process Improvement
- Lead the implementation of product initiatives, making trade-offs to ensure high-quality launches.
- Own and evolve tooling integrations (e.g. Jira–Monday syncs) to support scalable operations.
- Support the New Product Development (NPD) process by coordinating operational activities, tracking milestones, and ensuring timely execution.
- Actively experiment with and integrate AI tools/agentic processes that creates efficiencies in the prod ops workflows. Metricize the efficiency lift to delivery above and beyond yields through automation.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Enablement
- Collaborate with BI/DW teams to validate KPIs and ensure data integrity across platforms.
- Act as liaison between Product Ops and cross-functional teams (Product, Client Success, Tech, PMO).
- Leadership
- Identify and align stakeholders behind current and planned projects.
- Integrate stakeholder feedback and make recommendations for the best path forward, escalating when necessary.
- Communicate status, progress, and outcomes to senior management effectively.
- Understand the objectives, goals and success criteria of product operations and effectively communicate that to the team. Lead the team of analysts effectively to farm their responsibilities, manage their queues and be responsible for their outputs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product operations, product analysis, or a similar role with a B2B SaaS product, preferably in data analytics. Experience with products that are used by life science or biopharma will be an added advantage.
- Proven experience working within a product operations team or role, with a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong technical acumen with tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, SQL, Jira, Monday.com, Gainsight PX, Pendo, and Python; certifications in any of these tools are a plus.
- Experience with usage analytics strategy, KPI standardization, and dashboard development.
- Exposure to automation tools like PowerAutomate, Pega, UiPath etc.
- Strong EQ with the ability to lead by influence and work effectively across geographies and cultures
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Skilled in stakeholder management and effective communication across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience managing multiple products or projects in a regulated environment
- Passion for user-centric product development and driving operational excellence.
