Job Description: Placement Manager – Head Office

Location: New Delhi (Head Office) Position Type: Full-time

Empower Pragati is a leading skill development organization working across government, CSR, and private sector initiatives to equip young people with industry-relevant skills and sustainable employment opportunities. Our programs span multiple domains including healthcare, ITeS, Retail, BFSI, and emerging sectors.

Role Overview

The Placement Manager will lead and oversee all placement-related functions at Empower Pragati’s Head Office. This role focuses on building robust placement linkages, developing strategic institutional partnerships, and ensuring strong employment outcomes across government and CSR skilling programs. The individual will serve as the central point of coordination for all placement activities, supporting regional teams and ensuring alignment with program objectives and industry expectations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Partnership Development & Industry Linkages

● Forge and manage strategic partnerships with employers across sectors such as Healthcare, ITeS/BPO, Staffing & Recruitment, Retail, Logistics, and other high-demand domains.

● Build strong pipelines for job opportunities for candidates trained through various Empower Pragati programs.

● Develop MoUs and long-term partnerships with national- and state-level institutions, staffing partners, and industry associations.

● Continuously scan the market to identify industry trends, emerging job roles, and new placement avenues.

2. Placement Strategy & Coordination

● Design and implement placement strategies that support employment-linked skilling programs under government and CSR projects.

● Coordinate with regional placement teams to forecast demand, align supply, and ensure smooth execution of placement drives.

● Monitor placement performance of all centers and ensure targets are met with quality employment outcomes.

3. Employer Engagement & Relationship Management

● Act as the primary point of contact at the Head Office for all placement partners and employers.

● Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with recruiters and HR heads of partner organizations.

● Resolve employer or candidate-side issues promptly and ensure high satisfaction levels.

Organize job fairs, employer sessions, and recruitment events in collaboration with field teams.

4. Reporting, Documentation & Compliance

● Track placement metrics, maintain dashboards, and ensure timely completion of all project-specific documentation.

● Support compliance requirements for government and CSR-funded programs, ensuring transparency and audit readiness.

● Provide periodic reports to senior management on progress, pipeline status, risks, and recommendations.

5. Candidate Readiness & Support

● Work closely with training teams to enhance pre-placement orientation, interview readiness, and sector-specific employability skills.

● Support centers in managing candidate expectations regarding locations, roles, wages, and growth pathways.

Qualifications & Experience

● Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Management, Social Sciences, HR, or related fields.

● 5-8 years of proven experience in placement management within skilling, vocational training, or employment-linked programs.

● Strong network of industry relationships across healthcare, ITeS, and staffing agencies is highly desirable.

● Demonstrated track record of achieving placement targets in government/CSR skilling projects (e.g., DDU-GKY, NULM, NSDC, or state-level missions).

● Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

● Comfort with data-driven decision-making and reporting.
