About the Role
The Career Readiness Manager is a proactive, learner-first professional responsible for driving both career coaching and employer placement outcomes for graduates of entry-level technology programs. This role blends career counseling, job readiness training, and employer partnership development to ensure learners transition smoothly into meaningful career opportunities. Success in this role includes high learner engagement, strong employer relationships, and measurable placement outcomes.
What You Will Do
Career Coaching Learner Development
Conduct 1:1 and group coaching sessions on r sum refinement, LinkedIn optimization, interview skills, and career planning.
Guide learners in setting actionable career goals and understanding job market expectations.
Facilitate mock interviews and provide structured, improvement-focused feedback.
Maintain learner engagement through regular check-ins, progress tracking, and motivation touchpoints.
Coach learners on soft skills, networking strategies, and professional communication.
Employer Partnerships Job Placement
Build and nurture relationships with U.S.-based employers, HR leaders, and recruiters to secure job opportunities for graduates.
Maintain and expand a nationwide employer database across high-demand tech domains.
Match learners with relevant job openings based on skills, interests, and eligibility criteria.
Organize virtual hiring events, job fairs, and employer engagement sessions.
Collaborate with training teams to align certifications and learning outcomes with market demand.
Manage placement activities and reporting through CRM systems.
Serve as the primary liaison between candidates and employers throughout the placement cycle.
Operational Excellence Reporting
Oversee end-to-end placement workflows from employer outreach to candidate onboarding.
Communicate opportunities, timelines, and requirements to learners in a timely manner.
Coordinate internal job postings across LinkedIn and career portals.
Maintain accurate records, feedback logs, and performance insights to enhance placement outcomes.
Track KPIs including placement rates, learner engagement, employer satisfaction, and hiring trends.

Proven success in building employer partnerships and delivering measurable placement outcomes.
Proficiency with CRM systems, job portals, and digital engagement tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with colleges, bootcamps, or training providers in career services or placement roles.
Familiarity with employment eligibility processes (E-Verify, work visas, Form I-9, etc.).
Knowledge of workforce development programs or apprenticeship pathways.
Understanding of key tech roles (Cloud, Cybersecurity, Data, AI, etc.).
