Job Description

Role Overview: As a Senior Merchandiser at our company in Umbergaon, you will play a crucial role in product development, line planning, sourcing, supplier management, costing, budgeting, order planning, quality control, inventory management, logistics, leadership, strategic planning, client communication, compliance, problem-solving, and performance analysis. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with design teams, negotiating contracts with suppliers, managing budgets, developing production schedules, ensuring quality standards, overseeing sample development, implementing inventory control strategies, coordinating logistics, providing leadership to a team, contributing to strategic planning, communicating with clients and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with ethical standards, and analyzing production performance. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with design teams to develop new product lines and collections - Identify and establish relationships with suppliers and manufacturers - Develop and manage budgets for each product line or collection - Develop production schedules and coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery - Set and communicate quality standards to suppliers and conduct quality inspections - Oversee sample development process and provide approvals - Implement inventory control strategies and forecast demand - Coordinate transportation, shipping, and delivery schedules - Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team - Contribute to the development of business and merchandising strategies - Act as a key point of contact for clients, buyers, and stakeholders - Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards in production processes - Address and resolve complex issues during the production process - Track and analyze production for improvement and growth opportunities Qualifications Required: - Must be able to multitask and manage time effectively - Possess professionalism and good communication skills - Be adaptable, collaborative, and decisive - Able to work under pressure and manage budgets efficiently - Have good presentation skills and a positive attitude towards work - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to motivate a team If interested in this opportunity, please contact us at u.mukadam@talentcorner.in.,
