Job Summary

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for leading and optimizing the organization's procurement operations in Noida/Bangalore. This role involves strategic sourcing, vendor management, cost optimization, contract negotiations, and ensuring timely availability of materials and services to support business objectives. The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation skills, market understanding, and experience in handling end-to-end procurement cycles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement & Sourcing
  • Manage the complete procurement cycle for materials, equipment, and services.
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings.
  • Evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery timelines, and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational procurement policies and standards.
  • Vendor Management
  • Identify, onboard, and manage vendor relationships.
  • Conduct periodic vendor performance reviews and maintain approved vendor lists.
  • Resolve supplier issues related to pricing, delivery, and contracts.
  • Negotiation & Contracting
  • Lead negotiations for pricing, payment terms, and service agreements.
  • Draft, review, and finalize contracts in collaboration with legal/finance teams.
  • Ensure contracts meet compliance, quality, and risk management standards.
  • Inventory & Cost Management
  • Work with inventory and production teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Analyze cost drivers, market trends, and price fluctuations.
  • Drive cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
  • Coordination & Reporting
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders—operations, production, finance, logistics, and quality teams.
  • Generate procurement reports (spend analysis, vendor performance, cost savings, etc.).
  • Use ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or equivalent) for procurement workflows.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • MBA or certification in supply chain (CIPS/CSCP) preferred.
  • Experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience in vendor development and contract management.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office tools.
  • Knowledge of local suppliers and procurement regulations (preferred for Noida/Delhi NCR or Bangalore region).
