Job Responsibilities:

PRICE DISCOVERY

• Establish the system, approach & process to links the equipment pricing with global material price trends, including alert & monitoring of metal markets trends globally and indigenously.
• Collaborate with supporting resources to achieve including lead time reductions, cost reduction etc.
• Participate in sourcing initiatives to leverage best practices, partner with corporate commodity leaders, sourcing leaders, and peers to maximize synergies with supplier
• Benchmarking the prices of equipment / project items across all sites

NEW VENDOR EMPANELMENT

• Identifying potential risks in the supply chain and procurement process and developing contingency plans to mitigate these risks by diversifying the supplier base, maintaining strategic relationship with suppliers, and establishing alternative sourcing strategies to ensure business continuity.
• Responsibility to conduct due diligence on suppliers, and ensuring Identify and qualify suppliers capable of meeting the requirements of new product introductions.
• Conduct assessments to evaluate suppliers capabilities, quality systems, and capacity through third parties, internal team visits and feedback.

INNOVATION India MATERIAL

• Coordinating and supporting various material innovation teams to ensure & drive of the best approach.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with new product development goals, considering factors such as cost, quality, availability, and supplier capabilities.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to sourcing, supply chain disruptions, and supplier performance that could impact new material introductions.

REGULAR PROCUREMENT ACTIVITIES

• Coordinating and supporting capex procurement in executing and maintaining of good quality and usage of Digital initiatives Procurement, as well of improvement of respective platforms.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities and timelines related to sourcing

Qualification: -

• B.E. / B. Tech (Mechanical / Chemical) and MBA or PG preferred as additional qualification.
