About The Role:
The Associate Manager / Manager will play a critical role in driving revenue, retention, and engagement for our Consumer Revenue organization by operationalizing campaigns in our email and app experience platforms. This includes things like campaign creation, list management, deliverability optimization, and performance tracking. The Associate Manager / Manager will partner with team members from marketing and operations to launch marketing campaigns across the various stages of the customer lifecycle. A successful candidate will have a background in email marketing systems (ex, Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot), strong project management and communication skills, and be a strategic thinker.
What will you be doing?
- Support marketing initiatives within our deployment channels, including Sailthru, Airship, Pushly, SMS, etc., by building and managing marketing campaigns for a variety of brands to drive revenue, retention, and engagement
- Manage several elements required in the execution of campaigns in both Sailthru and Airship, including scheduling, segmenting, testing, QA, deployment, and monitoring
- Meet with Marketing Managers to review campaign and test plan documents, understand marketing strategy and goals, and build the outlined campaigns
- Make strategic recommendations to Marketing Managers where applicable based on knowledge of marketing capabilities and the performance of previous campaigns
- Monitor active campaigns to communicate significant changes to marketing stakeholders
- Assist in A/B test plan design to ensure they are set up to attain actionable learnings
- Complete monthly reporting documentation and analyze key metrics, such as open rates and click-through rates, to measure performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop email content and templates that drive engagement and conversion
- Optimize email deliverability and inbox placement through effective list management and implementing best practices strategies (ex, subject line and send time optimization)
- Maintaining platform health by performing regular audits and clean up efforts
- Conduct A/B tests and experiments to optimize email content, subject lines, timing, and other variables for maximum effectiveness
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to email marketing, and ensure compliance with relevant laws (ex, CAN-SPAM, GDPR) and fulfilling legal requirements as needed (ex, completing opt out requests, updating templates with legal needs)
- Manage relationships with email service providers and other vendors to ensure reliable email delivery and maximize technology investments
- Develop and maintain documentation of email processes, workflows, and performance metrics
- Manage CM unit updates across all brands
- Maintain Martech order/cancellation/renewal forms footer language and compliance
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in email marketing, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with email marketing platforms (ex, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, HubSpot) and marketing automation tools (ex, Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot).
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making, including familiarity with email marketing metrics and KPIs
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance, with a commitment to delivering error-free and on-brand communications
- Familiarity with customer segmentation strategies is preferred
- Certifications in email marketing and/or marketing automation are a plus
