Location: Onsite, 201- E , 2nd Floor, Vipul Agora, MG Road, Gurgaon, Haryana-122002, India

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Staffing
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for all positions within the school, including teaching staff, administrative personnel, and support staff.
  • Work with department heads to identify staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and ensure timely filling of vacancies.
  • Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
  • Conduct reference checks and background verifications to ensure compliance with school policies.
  • Facilitate smooth onboarding for new employees, ensuring they are properly inducted into the school’s culture and operations.
  • Employee Relations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for staff regarding HR-related inquiries, grievances, or concerns.
  • Mediate and resolve conflicts in a fair and timely manner, ensuring a positive and professional work environment.
  • Counsel employees on professional growth, career development, and performance concerns.
  • Foster a supportive and respectful workplace culture that aligns with the school’s values and mission.
  • Performance Management & Development
  • Develop and implement performance management systems for teaching and non-teaching staff, ensuring alignment with school goals.
  • Monitor staff performance through regular feedback, coaching, and evaluations.
  • Identify skill gaps and work with management to organize training programs and development opportunities for staff.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, assisting in goal-setting and addressing performance-related issues.
  • Compliance & Policy Administration
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable labor laws, educational regulations, and school policies.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of employee contracts, compliance documentation, and other legal requirements.
  • Regularly review and update HR policies and procedures in line with changes in regulations and best practices.
  • Ensure that staff are informed and compliant with the school’s HR policies, including attendance, leave, and code of conduct.
  • Compensation & Benefits
  • Oversee the payroll function, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in staff payments.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave entitlements.
  • Conduct periodic salary reviews and ensure competitive compensation practices within budgetary constraints.
  • Ensure transparency and clear communication regarding the compensation structure and benefits entitlements.
  • Employee Well-being & Engagement
  • Manage initiatives related to employee well-being, work-life balance, and mental health support.
  • Organize employee engagement activities, team-building exercises, and wellness programs to boost morale and retention.
  • Address employee concerns related to leave management, health issues, and personal challenges in a confidential and professional manner.
  • Record Keeping & Documentation
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal data, performance reviews, attendance, and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality requirements in managing HR information.
  • Generate regular HR reports (e.g., turnover rates, absenteeism, etc.) for management review and decision-making.
  • School Culture & Organizational Development
  • Promote a culture of inclusion, diversity, and professional excellence within the school environment.
  • Advocate for the school’s values, ensuring they are integrated into the HR processes and daily operations.
  • Organize and lead staff development activities, fostering a continuous learning environment for all employees.
  • Implement feedback systems and encourage open dialogue between staff and leadership.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in an educational institution or similar organizational structure.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, performance management, employee relations, payroll administration, Proficiency in HR software and Knowledge of labor laws and regulations, particularly in the educational sector.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time position, based on the school’s working hours.
  • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required during peak recruitment periods or events.
