Job Description: Human Resources Manager (Full-Spectrum HR Ownership)

ROLES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

We are seeking an end-to-end HR Manager who can independently own and drive all facets

of the Human Resources function. This role is critical in building a people-first organization

and requires someone who is both strategic and operational — a true generalist with

leadership potential. From shaping culture to ensuring compliance, you will wear multiple

hats while contributing to the overall business success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

Collaborate with leadership to define workforce needs, structure, and roles.

Build and manage recruitment pipelines using internal and external sources.

Lead campus hiring, walk-ins, lateral hiring, and vendor partnerships.

Establish robust interview processes, panel structures, and selection criteria.

2. Onboarding & Exit Management

Design structured onboarding journeys: welcome kits, training, policy induction.

Conduct HR inductions, buddy programs, and 30/60/90-day check-ins.

Smoothly manage exit interviews, knowledge transfers, and full & final settlements.

Analyze exit trends and recommend retention strategies.

3. HR Operations & Systems

Create and maintain HR dashboards: attrition, leave, headcount, cost-to-company

(CTC) data.

Own HRIS/HRMS implementation and data integrity.

Administer employee lifecycle documentation (offer letters, appraisals, etc.).

Maintain master employee database and audit trails.

4. Payroll, Compensation & Benefits

End-to-end payroll execution in coordination with finance/payroll vendors.

Administer statutory and company-specific deductions (PF, ESI, bonus, gratuity).

Manage compensation structuring, CTC break-ups, tax declarations, reimbursements.

Benchmark compensation and recommend competitive packages.

5. Performance Management & Career Development

Implement structured appraisal and goal-setting cycles (OKRs/KRAs).

Design and drive performance improvement plans (PIPs).

Enable manager capability building in feedback, coaching, and performance

conversations.

Track and promote internal mobility, learning & development initiatives.

6. Compliance, Policies & Audits

Maintain compliance with all applicable labor and employment laws (Shops Act,

Factories Act, CLRA, etc.).

Handle inspections, audits, and liaison with government bodies when required.

Create and periodically review HR policies and employee handbooks.

7. Employee Relations & Culture

KEY SKILLS:

Be the employee advocate and trusted point of contact for grievances or issues.

Conduct investigations where necessary, ensure fairness and confidentiality.

Plan and execute engagement programs (offsites, rewards, team building).

Drive DEI initiatives and promote an inclusive, respectful workplace.

8. Strategic HR & Org Development

Contribute to organizational design, workforce productivity, and succession planning.

Provide people analytics and HR metrics for decision-making.

Forecast HR budgets and align people strategy with business objectives.

KEY SUCCESS METRICS:

Time-to-fill critical roles

Employee retention & engagement scores

Compliance adherence & zero penalty audits

Payroll accuracy & timeliness

Employee satisfaction in HR processes (NPS,

feedback loops)

Manager/leadership satisfaction with HR

partnership

KEY COMPETENCIES:

Strong business and HR acumen

Discretion and ability to handle sensitive

information

Emotional intelligence and active listening

Conflict resolution and negotiation skills

Process orientation and documentation

discipline

Proactive ownership mindset

CULTURAL FIT:

Thrives in lean, high-trust environments

Comfortable building systems from scratch

Brings warmth, fairness, and maturity to people interactions

Balances compliance with compassion

Believes HR is a partner, not just a function

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, Psychology, or related field.

5+ years of HR experience, preferably in an end-to-end or standalone HR Manager

role.

Strong grasp of Indian labor laws, payroll systems, and HR technology.
