Position: Human Resources Manager

Experience: 2 to 5 years (Preferred)

Job description:

The HR Manager will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management, and managing all HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, organizational development, compliance, and payroll processing. This individual will ensure smooth and accurate payroll processing while implementing HR strategies that enhance organizational performance and employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Partnering:

Collaborate with senior leadership and department heads to understand business needs and ensure HR initiatives align with organizational goals.

Act as a strategic partner to managers by providing guidance on HR issues, including talent management, succession planning, and organizational development.

Lead and support the development of HR strategies that drive business growth and workforce effectiveness.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:

Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and implement recruitment strategies.

Oversee and guide the recruitment process, ensuring the organization attracts top talent and enhances employer branding.

Support workforce planning and talent mapping to ensure appropriate talent pipelines are in place.

Performance Management & Employee Development:

Guide managers in conducting performance appraisals, providing feedback, and implementing development plans for employees.

Lead initiatives for continuous learning and development, identifying training needs and implementing programs that foster employee growth.

Advise on career development strategies, including succession planning, leadership development, and talent retention.

Employee Engagement & Relations:

Drive employee engagement initiatives to improve morale, retention, and organizational culture.

Provide coaching to managers on handling employee relations issues and resolving conflicts.

Lead employee satisfaction surveys, analyze results, and develop action plans to address concerns.

Act as a point of contact for employee grievances and concerns, ensuring resolution in a timely and professional manner.

Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Management:

Payroll Processing: Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of salaries, bonuses, and other benefits.

Ensure payroll compliance with statutory requirements, including tax calculations (TDS), Provident Fund (EPF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), and Professional Tax.

Reconcile payroll data and manage payroll discrepancies and inquiries from employees.

Administer employee benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.

Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate tax deductions, reimbursements, and other deductions.

HR Policies & Compliance:

Ensure adherence to labor laws and industry regulations, including compliance with health and safety standards, diversity policies, and employee rights.

Update and communicate HR policies and procedures to all employees, ensuring they are aligned with current legal and regulatory requirements.

Conduct regular audits to ensure HR processes and documentation are in compliance with legal standards.

HR Analytics & Reporting:

Analyze key HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, recruitment effectiveness, payroll costs, employee performance) and generate reports to support business decisions.

Use data to identify trends and areas of opportunity in workforce planning, employee development, and organizational design.

Prepare regular HR and payroll reports for senior management, providing insights into key HR activities and outcomes.

Organizational Development:

Partner with leadership to drive organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimizing disruption.

Support workforce restructuring or reorganization processes, including communication, training, and transition support.

Promote diversity and inclusion within the organization by ensuring that policies and practices are inclusive and equitable.

Leadership Coaching & Development:

Provide coaching to managers and senior leaders to enhance their leadership capabilities and drive high-performing teams.

Help leaders build strong, effective teams by advising on team dynamics, conflict resolution, and leadership practices.

Talent Retention & Succession Planning:

Lead initiatives to retain high-performing employees through engagement programs, career development, and retention strategies.

Work with leadership to develop and implement succession plans for key roles within the organization.
