Positions: Head Sales

Grade: GITCE – 06 onwards

Qualification: B.Tech/B.E., MBA (Sales/Marketing)

Location: GIFT City, Gandhinagar

Candidate Summary:

Candidate must have experience In Gov. sales in IT Solutions & Services.

Strong experience in hard core sales, government and non-government project bidding processes, managing the complete lifecycle of RFPs, RFIs, proposals, and tenders.

The candidate should have working knowledge and experience in:

  1. Sales Strategy & Business Development:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Identifying new business opportunities in domestic and international markets.
  • Managing key accounts and developing long-term client relationships.

  1. IT Solution & Service Sales:

  • Selling IT services and solutions and application development services.
  • Experience in selling managed services (L1/L2/L3) and software solutions.

  1. Team Leadership:

  • Leading, mentoring, and motivating the sales team to achieve targets.
  • Planning and reviewing team performance, solving challenges, and enhancing productivity.

  1. Proposal & Bid Management:

  • Managing the complete lifecycle of RFPs, RFIs, proposals, and tenders.
  • Strong experience in government and non-government project bidding processes.

  1. Client Engagement & Relationship Management:

  • Building strong relationships with senior management and key decision-makers.
  • Conducting regular client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.

  1. Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence:

  • Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and adjusting sales strategies accordingly.
  • Utilizing market data to identify new sales opportunities.

  1. Revenue & Forecast Management:

  • Ensuring accurate sales forecasting, budgeting, and achieving quarterly/annual targets.
  • Tracking sales metrics and providing regular reports to senior management.

  1. Digital Sales & Online Channels:

  • Experience in leveraging digital platforms for lead generation and sales conversions.
  • Developing online sales strategies and overseeing digital campaigns.

  1. Pre-sales Support & Collaboration:

  • Working closely with technical teams to provide client-centric solutions.
  • Assisting in solution presentations, demos, and proof-of-concept activities.

  1. Compliance & Process Adherence:

  • Ensuring compliance with organizational policies, legal standards, and client requirements.
  • Streamlining the sales process for operational efficiency.

Preferred Skills:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of IT products, services, and emerging technologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools/etc. and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with global markets and cross-cultural communication.

Reporting to: Senior Management

Travel: As per business requirements.
