Job Opening Guidewire Profile

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining Guidewire BillingCenter applications, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of Guidewire frameworks and a solid background in Java development.

Must have Skills

· 5+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire BillingCenter (Configuration and Integration).

· Strong proficiency in Gosu programming and Java.

· Experience with Guidewire Data Model, Product Model, Billing Instructions, and Billing Flows.

· Experience with Integration Development (web services, messaging, plugins).

· Familiarity with Guidewire Studio and GUnit testing.

· Knowledge of XML, XSD, and SOAP/RESTful services.

· Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

· Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Good-to-Have Skills:

· Guidewire Certification in BillingCenter.

· Experience with other Guidewire modules (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter).

· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and DevOps tools.

· Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

· Knowledge of database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server).

· Exposure to insurance domain concepts, especially around billing and payments.

· Familiarity with performance tuning and load testing tools.

Job Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and implement solutions using Guidewire BillingCenter.

· Customize BillingCenter functionalities using Gosu and Java.

· Work closely with business analysts and QA teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

· Develop integration components using web services (SOAP/REST), messaging, and plugins.

· Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and debugging.

· Ensure adherence to development best practices and Guidewire configuration standards.

· Support deployment activities and post-deployment validations.
