About the Company

Our client is a fast-growing Series B-funded fintech and e-commerce company revolutionizing the way consumers interact with financial products and digital commerce. Backed by marquee investors, the company is now looking for a dynamic and strategic Head of Human Resources to lead and evolve its people function as it continues its growth journey.

Role Overview

Head of HR

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic HR Leadership

  • Develop and execute the HR strategy aligned with the company’s vision, mission, and business objectives.
  • Partner with founders and functional leaders to shape the organizational structure and future workforce plans.
  • Build and drive a strong performance-driven and inclusive culture.

2. Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding

  • Lead recruitment strategies for key leadership and technical roles across the organization.
  • Design scalable hiring processes to support rapid growth.
  • Strengthen employer brand in key talent markets.

3. Culture & Employee Experience

  • Champion the company’s values and build scalable programs to embed culture across locations and teams.
  • Drive initiatives around employee engagement, recognition, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
  • Own internal communication and change management efforts.

4. HR Operations & Compliance

  • Build and manage core HR processes including onboarding, payroll, benefits, HRIS, and compliance.
  • Set up scalable HR systems and policies suitable for a fast-paced and hybrid workforce.

5. Learning & Development

  • Build and execute training, leadership development, and upskilling programs across functions.
  • Implement continuous feedback and career development frameworks.

6. Performance & Rewards

  • Design and implement performance management systems tied to business outcomes.
  • Oversee compensation structures, ESOP strategy, and incentive plans to retain top talent.

Requirements

  • 14+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in high-growth startups or tech-enabled businesses.
  • Prior experience in a leadership HR role at a Series A/B funded startup is strongly preferred.
  • Strong exposure to both strategic and operational HR areas.
  • Demonstrated ability to scale HR in a rapidly growing and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Deep understanding of Indian labor laws and HR compliance.
