About Fellowship -
The Fellowship Program is designed for emerging stars, looking to grow as Venture Partners in the VC PE & entrepreneurial ecosystem. The program is rooted in our belief that SucSEED’s core purpose in the early-stage ecosystem is to Nurture Talent - either entrepreneurial talent through capital or VC talent through early exposure to building blocks of Venture ecosystem.Entrepreneurship is about fearless reimagination of the world, and the Fellowship is our endeavour to bring together a group of passionate minds and provide them the unique opportunity to get first-hand experience of the startup ecosystem. About The Position
For this Fellowship, SucSEED is seeking a young & proactive, organized - Finance Executive with excellent Finance & Accounting skills to work with CFO/ Transaction & Compliance Officer and Fund Accounting Team well as Partners of the Fund, to support the two Funds (SEBI Regulated and IFSCA regulated). We are looking for a highly motivated, hands-on Executive who takes initiative and flourishes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.This is a high-ownership role at the intersection of fund operations and digitizing operational workflows. The person will use fund management software (e.g., TheCapitalNet, Carta, Visible.vc) to maintain accurate fund data, manage deal flow, track portfolio performance, and prepare LP reports — all while avoiding scattered spreadsheets and redundant manual processes and enable a clean, auditable, tech-powered operations backbone for the fund.
Job Location & Mode of Work:
Work from Hyderabad office. SucSEED’s office is based at Centre of Innovation & Entrepreneurship (CIE) at IIIT Hyd Campus at Gachibowli, with any required Business visits to our office at GIFT City or to our Portfolio’s locations.
Key Responsibilities
Fund Operations & Compliance
- Maintain capital accounts, process capital calls/distributions, and manage expense tracking.
- Support quarterly reporting, fund performance metrics (IRR, DPI, TVPI), and valuations.
- Liaise with legal, audit, and fund admin partners for compliance, SEBI filings, and fund audits.
- Maintain investor records, commitments, and documentation with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support in Quarterly MOIC Calculation, using the Automation tool
- Work on IFSCA documentation till we become BAU
- Ongoing Regulatory Reporting, Coordination & Compliance of Monthly & Quarterly requirements
- Custody Account Coordination
- Coordinate ISIN work with agencies for DMAT of shares/ Schemes
- Coordination with Legal Agencies for TermSheet to deal compliance
- Work on Banking requirements & Treasury Management
Platform Management & Digitization
- Own and manage the fund’s operational stack – platforms like TheCapitalNet, Carta, Visible.vc, or others.
- Design centralized, integrated workflows to digitize deal flow, investor comms, IC approvals, and portfolio updates.
- Eliminate operational silos by ensuring all fund data, reports, and records live within a single source of truth.
- Generate custom dashboards, reports, and summaries for LPs and internal reviews.
Process Optimization
- Audit existing workflows and propose improvements to reduce manual data entry and duplication.
- Champion the use of automation tools or integrations (e.g., Zapier, Google Suite, Notion, Airtable) where applicable.
- Track and analyze operational KPIs, investor engagement metrics, and platform utilization.
Essential Skills
- You could come from CA/ CS/ BCom/ BBA background, could be a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), preferably alongwith Chartered Accountant (CA) with an experience of using Technology regularly.
- 1–3 years of experience in VC fund operations, angel funds, finance, or investment management.
- Working knowledge of fund accounting, LP tracking, and regulatory norms (esp. for Indian angel/VC funds).
- Hands-on experience with fund or CRM platforms (e.g., TheCapitalNet, Carta, AngelList Stack, Zapflow).
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and digital productivity tools.
Desired Skills
- Strong data and process orientation
- Experience in working with internal and external stakeholders in matrix structures.
- Possess good oral, written communication, and interaction skills with fluency in English and Hindi.
- Be ambitious and passionate and ability to work effectively under pressure.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE
The Fellowship is a stipend-led program designed with multidisciplinary learning at its core. The program operates on a 12-month model where a fellow would get an opportunity to work on above dimensions of the VC ecosystem in the sectors of our fund thesis. At the end of the program, SucSEED will provide extensive support to help you pursue your career or aspirations through strong references and recommendations.We expect the Fellow to complete 12-month to get the most out of our program, and would accept a lock-in period of 12 months to ensure only committed candidates deserve to enter the program. The program combines structured mentorship with hands-on experience and offers tremendous opportunity to learn about VC & amplifies insights and understanding of the India's startup ecosystem.
