Role – Business Development Manager
Job Location – South Delhi
Timing – 10.00 am – 7.00 pm
Working Days – Monday – Saturday.
Experience – Minimum 7 years
Salary – Rs. 600,000 – Rs. 12,00,000 PA (CTC).
Position OverviewThe Business Development Manager (FMCG – Non-Food) will be responsible for driving sales growth, market expansion, and strategic partnerships within the non-food FMCG segment (personal care, home care, hygiene, or household products). The role involves identifying new business opportunities, establishing distributor and retail networks, managing key accounts, and ensuring consistent revenue growth aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities· Identify and evaluate new market opportunities for non-food FMCG categories.
· Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for launching new products or expanding into new regions.
· Conduct competitor and market analysis to understand pricing, distribution, and consumer trends.
· Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through effective channel management.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and modern trade partners.
· Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and propose actionable growth strategies.
· Expand and strengthen distribution networks across general trade, modern trade, and e-commerce.
· Manage supply chain coordination to ensure product availability, visibility, and timely delivery.
· Negotiate trade margins, promotional offers, and credit terms with distributors and key accounts.
· Coordinate with marketing teams for product positioning, brand visibility, and consumer promotions.
· Execute in-store branding, sampling campaigns, and regional activations to enhance market presence.
· Identify and onboard strategic partners, institutional buyers, and bulk clients.
· Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through prompt service and relationship management.
· Act as a liaison between clients and internal departments to ensure smooth execution.
· Maintain sales reports, pipeline updates, and forecasts.
· Present periodic performance reviews and business plans to senior management.
· Utilize CRM tools and data analytics for performance tracking and lead conversion optimization.
Key Skills & Competencies· Strong understanding of FMCG (Non-Food) sector dynamics – personal care, home care, hygiene, etc.
· Proven track record in sales, distribution, and business development.
· Experience in B2B, B2C, B2G, Modern Trade and Exports.
· Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
· Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel, CRM software, and MIS reporting.
· Ability to work independently, with a results-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset.
Educational Qualification• Bachelor’s degree in business administration / marketing / commerce.
• MBA or PGDM in Sales & Marketing preferred.
Experience Required• Minimum 7 years of experience in FMCG (Non-Food) sales or business development.
• Prior experience in home care, hygiene, personal care, or household products will be an advantage.
