Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Associate (B2B Sales / Packaging Sales) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and promoting EnviPack’s range of packaging materials and procurement services. This role is crucial in driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base within the B2B sector. Key focus areas include lead generation, cold outreach, CRM-driven sales, territory sales, and key account management for packaging procurement and supply solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and identify new business opportunities within the B2B sector (manufacturers, distributors, retailers, logistics and hotel chains) with emphasis on packaging materials and procurement solutions.
- Execute lead generation strategies including cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and targeted industry outreach to generate qualified leads.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, competitor landscape, and procurement cycles in e-commerce packaging, D2C packaging, and sustainable packaging.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with potential and existing clients through regular communication, follow-up, and strategic account management.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations highlighting packaging solutions, cost savings, and procurement value.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of agreements to close sales and achieve win-win outcomes while ensuring margin and procurement efficiency.
- Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and product teams to ensure timely onboarding, order fulfillment, and continuous improvement of packaging offerings.
- Track and report sales activity, pipeline status, forecast accuracy, and conversion metrics. Use data-driven insights to refine sales strategies.
- Stay updated on industry developments, market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to identify growth and partnership opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, account management, or business development—preferably in packaging, procurement, logistics, or supply-chain sectors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships at all levels and drive long-term partnerships with packaging suppliers and buyers.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team. Willingness to travel for client visits and trade events as needed.
- Analytical mindset, comfortable working with sales metrics, forecasting, and using data to drive decisions.
- Knowledge of sustainable packaging trends, packaging materials, and procurement best practices is a plus
