Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, target-driven Admission Counselor with a strong business mindset to join our growing admissions team. This role requires a unique blend of advisory skills and sales acumen to guide prospective students through the admissions process while achieving enrollment and revenue goals.
The ideal candidate is a confident communicator, strategic thinker, and passionate about helping students make informed educational choices—while driving lead conversion and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
🎯 Student Admission/ Registration & Sales
Drive student enrollments by actively converting qualified leads into admissions.
Conduct consultative calls to understand applicants’ career goals and recommend appropriate programs.
Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly enrollment targets and revenue objectives.
📈 Lead Management & CRM
Manage, nurture, and follow up on leads generated through digital campaigns, referrals, and events.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho).
Segment and prioritize leads to maximize conversion potential.
📊 Data-Driven Strategy
Analyze lead conversion metrics to identify trends and improve outreach strategies.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine messaging and program offerings based on student feedback and market demand.
🌐 Outreach & Engagement
Conduct virtual and in-person info sessions, webinars, and campus tours (if applicable).
Represent the institution at education fairs, corporate tie-ups, and networking events.
Build strong rapport with prospective students, parents, and professional contacts.
🤝 Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with marketing, operations, and academic teams to ensure smooth admissions processes and high-quality student onboarding.
Provide market insights and competitor analysis to support business development initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree (required); MBA or experience in business/sales is a strong plus.
Experience: 2+ years in admissions, sales, student recruitment, or business development—preferably in education or edtech.
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication
Persuasive and empathetic approach to counseling
Strong organizational and follow-up skills
Data-oriented with the ability to analyze and act on KPIs
Proficient in CRM and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace tools
