Role Overview
The Team Lead – US Staffing will be responsible for managing and driving a high-performing team focused on acquiring, placing, and servicing contractual healthcare roles for US clients. You’ll lead from the front in a night-shift setting (to align with US time-zones), ensuring your team hits targets while maintaining quality, client satisfaction and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and manage a team of recruiters / account managers focused on US healthcare staffing (contractual, contract-to-hire) roles.
- Set performance targets (placements, revenue, fill-rate, time-to-fill), track progress, coach team members to meet/exceed targets.
- Oversee full life-cycle staffing: prospecting clients, understanding demand for US healthcare contract roles, sourcing candidates, screening, coordinating with clients, negotiations, and placements. (Healthcare recruiter roles involve identifying talent, vetting, onboarding)
- Collaborate with US-based clients (hospitals, healthcare staffing firms, end-clients) to secure mandates, define role requirements, drive service delivery.
- Monitor contractual terms, compliance, regulatory/licensing requirements (for healthcare staffing) and ensure placements meet US client expectations.
- Develop and refine processes and workflows for contractual staffing operations (e.g., candidate pool management, credentialing, vendor management, client communication).
- Ensure excellent team and candidate experience: track metrics, feedback, resolve escalations, maintain high standards of service.
- Provide reporting and insights to senior management: team performance, revenue forecast, pipeline health, market trends in US healthcare staffing (contract roles).
- Coordinate with internal functions (operations, credentialing, legal, finance) to streamline contractual staffing workflows, ensure smooth placements.
Required Experience & Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in US staffing, specifically with
contractual / contract-to-hire roles
in the US healthcare staffing sector. - Proven experience managing teams: leading, coaching, achieving targets, driving performance.
- Strong knowledge of the US healthcare staffing market: understanding of roles, licensing/credentialing, contractual hiring, agencies/clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — especially in dealing with US clients, internal teams, cross-time-zone coordination.
- Comfortable working a
night-shift schedule
in Noida to align with US business hours. - Demonstrated ability to develop processes, workflows, and drive operational excellence in a staffing context.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills: able to interpret metrics (placements, fill-rates, time-to-fill, revenue), and convert into action.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, with a collaborative mindset and ability to escalate when needed.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM, staffing operations technology/tools.
- Experience in client-facing roles, dealing with US staffing agencies/end-clients, negotiating contracts and service levels.
Qualifications
- Prior team-management or leadership role in a US healthcare staffing or US recruitment agency is highly desirable.
- Willingness to work night shifts (to align with US times) in Noida office environment.
- Any certifications in staffing/recruiting (optional) will be an advantage.
