About the Role

The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of mission-critical systems. You will work closely with development and operations teams to build and maintain infrastructure, improve system reliability, and automate processes wherever possible. The SRE will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence by implementing best practices and solving complex technical challenges.


What you will do:

  • Monitoring & Altering:

    Implement and maintain monitoring tools and dashboards for system health, performance, and capacity planning.
  • Automation:

    Develop and implement automation for repetitive tasks, including deployments, scaling, and maintenance, to reduce manual intervention.
  • Incident Management:

    Respond to incidents, lead post-incident analysis, and drive efforts to prevent recurrences through detailed root cause analysis.
  • Performance Optimization:

    Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in infrastructure, databases, applications, and networking.
  • System Design & Architecture:

    Collaborate with development teams to design systems that are highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and optimized for performance and cost.
  • CI/CD Pipelines:

    Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and improve delivery cycles.
  • Disaster Recovery:

    Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans, ensuring that systems are resilient and capable of fast recovery.
  • Capacity Planning:

    Monitor and forecast resource utilization and implement cost-effective scaling strategies.
  • Security & Compliance:

    Ensure that all systems meet or exceed security and compliance requirements.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing:

    Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems and processes. Provide mentorship and share knowledge with team members.


Required Skills:

  • Experience: 3-6 years in a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps, or Infrastructure role.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (Python, NodeJS, Bash, etc.)
  • Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platforms.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency with tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Exceptional problem solving skills (Need to closely work with the Software Engineering team & provide solutions)
  • Monitoring & Logging: Familiarity with tools such as New relic, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog, or equivalent.
  • CI/CD: Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Code Pipeline, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or equivalent.
  • Version Control: Experience with Git and version control best practices.
  • Containerization & Orchestration: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Networking: Strong understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, load balancing, VPNs, and firewalls.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex systems, diagnose issues, and drive improvements.
  • Technical Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong analytic, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of Mass Customization a Plus
  • Understands and communicates in English
  • MCP knowledge is a plus


Nice to Have:

  • Experience in scaling processes for growing product teams.
  • Exposure to working with Product, Engineering, Design, and Customer Success teams.
