Job Summary

We seek a proactive Sales Engineer – Project Sales to drive revenue through sales of our full electrical panels range: LT/HT panels, PCC/MCC, control panels, APFC, distribution boards, VFDs, and custom automation solutions. You'll manage end-to-end project sales cycles for industrial, EPC, government, and infrastructure clients, ensuring targets are met with technical expertise and customer focus.


Responsibilities


1. Customer Engagement & Sales Development

Strategically plan and schedule customer visits, site surveys, and industry events to build meaningful relationships and generate qualified leads.


Identify and cultivate new clients for project sales in sectors like manufacturing, power, oil & gas, pharma, renewables, and data centers.


Evaluate technical inquiries on electrical panels (e.g., load capacity, IP ratings), resolve queries on-site/virtual, and forward detailed specs to the estimation team.


2. Quotation & Negotiation

Collect comprehensive techno-commercial offers from estimation team, including BOQs, pricing, delivery timelines, and compliance.


Present tailored proposals, follow up diligently on bids, and negotiate contracts to secure orders.


Develop sales strategies, pipelines, and forecasts to achieve/exceed annual targets while maintaining profit margins.


3. Project Coordination & Execution

Collect and track project details from kickoff to commissioning using CRM/ERP tools for milestone visibility.


Maintain detailed visit reports, sales trackers, and KPI dashboards for self-analysis, performance reviews, and team insights.


Follow up with internal teams (design, production, quality, logistics) for real-time status updates and bottleneck resolution.


Coordinate post-production activities: dispatch scheduling, FAT/SAT inspections, installation support, and client handovers.


4. Process & Compliance Management

Manage vendor registration/empanelment for EPCs, MNCs, PSUs, and government portals (GEM/e-tenders) with full documentation compliance.


Support production teams on customer dispatches, including packaging, transport, and insurance coordination.


Execute bi-weekly WhatsApp broadcasts, email campaigns, and product updates to sustain customer engagement and loyalty.


Monitor market intelligence, competitor pricing, and regulations (e.g., electrical safety, green norms) to refine sales approaches.


Qualifications & Experience


B.E./B.Tech/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering/ IC/ EC.

3-5 years in sales of electrical panels
