1. Task Coordination and Support Discuss work priorities and allocations with seniors and follow the assigned tasks. Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers remotely or on-site as required. Take support from seniors for complex tasks or confirmations. 2. Program Development Receive and review drawings from the design team for program development. Develop PLC and HMI programs based on drawings and customer requirements. Re-develop programs on-site as per customer changes. Conduct software simulation to test the developed program. Submit final program backups to seniors after completion. 3. Panel Testing and Troubleshooting Perform manual and auto-logic panel testing, including hardware testing. Identify and suggest necessary design changes to the design team based on testing outcomes. Perform I/O testing and ensure functionality of the panel in urgent cases. 4. Commissioning Collect required resources (e.g., tools, drawings, converters) for site commissioning tasks. Execute commissioning tasks at the client site, including: Wiring and continuity checks. I/O testing, autologic testing, and synchronization of motors/equipment. Calibrating functionality and conducting dry runs and load tests. Adjust programs and systems to meet customer requirements. Prepare commissioning reports, bills, and MoMs, and get them signed by the client. 5. Breakdown Management Handle breakdown tasks based on priorities set by seniors. Provide online support to OEM engineers when possible. Perform on-site troubleshooting, including program and hardware checks, wiring fixes, and part replacements. Coordinate repairs of faulty parts at the factory when necessary. Prepare breakdown reports and bills, and verify with the client. 6. Customer and OEM Coordination Discuss priorities for multiple work orders with OEMs and seniors. Provide updates to the sales team regarding project progress and site activities. 7. Documentation and Reporting Maintain detailed service reports, MoMs, and bills for all tasks. Submit reports to seniors, sales personnel, and customers as required. Process Improvement Identify inefficiencies in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting processes and suggest improvements to the team. Customer Feedback Management Gather and document customer feedback post-service to aid in service quality enhancement. Training and Development Mentor junior engineers on advanced programming, testing, and troubleshooting techniques. Technology Utilization Use diagnostic and simulation tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy in program development and testing.
