AI is reshaping procurement faster than ever — from automated sourcing to intelligent contract analysis to autonomous decision-making models. At Procol AI, we are now entering our next product chapter: building an AI-native procurement platform.

We are hiring a Senior Product Manager - AI to lead our AI strategy, roadmap, and execution across the entire platform. This leader will build foundational and applied AI capabilities within sourcing, negotiation, supplier intelligence, workflows, and autonomous procurement.

You’ll partner directly with our founders, Product, Engineering, Data, Sales, and Customer Success teams to conceptualize, validate, and build AI experiences that create outsized enterprise value. This role combines deep product thinking with strong technical intuition and a builder’s mindset — ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of AI, enterprise SaaS, and zero-to-one innovation. Please note, this is a full-time, in-office position based at our headquarters in Gurugram.

What will you do

• AI Strategy & Vision

• Define Procol’s long-term AI strategy and translate it into actionable quarterly and annual roadmaps.
• Identify high-impact AI opportunities across sourcing, vendor management, negotiation, contract processing, workflows, risk management, and cost optimization.
• Establish a framework for evaluating AI feasibility, ROI, and customer value.

• Product Leadership:

• Own the product vision, discovery, and execution for all AI-led initiatives.
• Partner with Engineering and Data Science teams to build scalable AI platforms, models, and services.
• Drive experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, prompt engineering, evaluation pipelines) to ship reliable and safe AI products.
• Champion user-centric product development — deeply understand procurement workflows, user pain points, and adoption behaviors.

• AI Innovation & New Capabilities:

• Build Procol's generative AI ecosystem across: Sourcing automation, Autonomous negotiation support, Supplier intelligence & insights, Workflow automation using LLMs, Predictive forecasting & risk engines and AI copilots for procurement teams.
• Stay ahead of global AI trends, research breakthroughs, and enterprise-grade best practices.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Partner with founders and leadership to prioritize AI bets and align cross-functional teams on execution.
• Work closely with Sales & CS to incorporate customer feedback loops, improve win-rates, and drive adoption of AI modules.
• Collaborate with Marketing to define positioning, narratives, and GTM for AI products.

• Execution & Delivery:

• Build and manage the AI product roadmap end-to-end, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features.
• Set success metrics, evaluate outcomes, and iterate quickly based on performance.
• Ensure compliance, security, model governance, and reliability for enterprise deployment.

What would you bring to the table

• 7–12 years of product management experience, with at least 3 years leading AI/ML-driven products in high-growth startups.
• Background in building ML/GenAI applications — strong technical intuition is essential (you don’t need to code, but must speak the language).
• A strong understanding of LLMs, embeddings, RAG systems, AI agents, model evaluation, and AI safety in enterprise environments.
• Comfortable working in zero-to-one ambiguity while scaling repeatable systems.
• Exceptional product sense — ability to simplify complex systems into intuitive experiences.
• Experience working directly with engineering & data science teams, influencing without authority.
• Excellent communication and storytelling — capable of inspiring internal teams and customers.
• A builder’s DNA: ownership, velocity, creativity, and a bias for action.
