What you will do:

• Lead High-Performing Teams: Hire, grow, and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Drive Technical Excellence: Ensure strong engineering practices—from code quality to architecture decisions—while balancing speed and stability.
• Own Delivery: Manage timelines, execution, and quality for critical initiatives by working closely with product, design, and business teams.
• Scale Systems: Architect and scale backend/frontend systems that power high-volume, low-latency B2B workflows.
• Promote Engineering Culture: Champion best practices in software development, testing, and devops—driving a culture of engineering excellence.
• Set the Bar: Establish and monitor performance metrics for the team, ensuring accountability and consistent progress.
• Bridge Strategy and Execution: Translate high-level business goals into actionable technical roadmaps and team objectives.

What would you bring to the table:

• 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals and scalable system design.
• Experience leading full-stack development teams in a high-growth SaaS or enterprise tech environment.
• Proven ability to manage and ship complex projects in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Hands-on expertise with modern backend frameworks (e.g., Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Go, Java) and frontend technologies (e.g., React, JavaScript).
• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP), CI/CD, observability, and security best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a knack for cross-functional collaboration.
