Position Overview:
The Senior HR Manager will lead the HR department and be responsible for developing, executing, and strengthening HR strategies, policies, and processes across the organization. The role requires a strong combination of leadership, operational expertise, and strategic HR experience in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Strategy & Leadership
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
Lead and mentor the HR team across recruitment, operations, compliance, and employee relations.
Work closely with senior leadership to support organizational growth and workforce planning.
2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
Oversee end-to-end recruitment for all departments and locations.
Manage vendor hiring, bulk hiring, and leadership hiring.
Ensure timely closure of open positions and maintain manpower budgets.
3. Employee Onboarding & HR Operations
Ensure smooth onboarding and documentation of all new hires.
Maintain employee records, HR database, and attendance systems.
Manage HRMS implementation and process automation initiatives.
4. Performance Management & Employee Engagement
Drive performance appraisal cycles and KPI alignment.
Implement employee engagement programs across departments.
Resolve employee queries, grievances, and ensure a positive work culture.
5. Training & Development
Identify training needs and coordinate capability-building programs.
Work with department heads to design development plans.
6. Compensation, Payroll & Benefits Administration
Coordinate with accounts for payroll processing.
Ensure salary, incentives, and statutory deductions are correctly managed.
Review and structure compensation as per market benchmarks.
7. Policy Formation & Compliance
Develop, implement, and review HR policies and SOPs.
Handle disciplinary actions, warning notices, and exit processes.
Ensure compliance with all labor laws (Shops & Establishment, PF, ESIC, Gratuity, POSH, etc.).
Oversee statutory registrations and audits across locations.
8. Exit Management
Ensure smooth offboarding and full & final settlements.
Conduct exit interviews and implement retention improvements.
9. HR Reporting & Analytics
Prepare and share weekly/monthly MIS reports on hiring, attrition, payroll, and HR KPIs.
Maintain dashboards for management review.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of HR operations, compliance, and recruitment.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage multiple priorities.
Hands-on experience with HRMS platforms (Zoho, Keka, Darwinbox, etc.).
Problem-solving mindset and strong decision-making abilities.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
7+ years of experience in HR, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Experience in fintech, BFSI, telecom, or BPO domains preferred.
Must have strong experience handling multi-location operations.
