Position: Purchase Manager Role Summary To Manage the end-to-end procurement process, vendor negotiations, pricing strategy, and cost optimization to ensure competitive margins in IT sales Key Responsibilities Pricing Strategy Develop and maintain pricing models and ensure competitive pricing aligned with market trends. Monitor competitor pricing and market dynamics to recommend pricing adjustments. Pricing Strategy Coordination Coordinate with sales team for accurate and timely pricing for quotes, tenders, and proposals Analyze margins, discounts, and promotions to maximize profitability. Procurement & Vendor Management Oversee Sourcing and procuring IT products (hardware, software, licenses, accessories) from authorized distributors/vendors. Negotiate terms, prices, and delivery schedules with suppliers. Evaluate vendor performance and maintain a strong supplier relationship network. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and contractual obligations. Sales & Purchase Forecast Monitor the pipeline of Sales Forecast & Analysis Logistics Management End to end delivery of products Manage Delivery staff Handle issues related to Logistics and Delivery Channels Cost Optimization & Profitability Management Analyze purchase trends and cost-effectiveness of procurement decisions. Improve cost-control strategies without compromising service quality. Optimize bulk purchasing and supplier discounts to increase profitability. Documentation, Risk Management & Compliance Maintain accurate records of POs, pricing logs, supplier contracts, and commercial documentation. Ensure GST input eligibility, commercial invoicing accuracy, and procurement compliance Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory frameworks in purchasing decisions. Maintain compliance with company financial policies and supplier agreements. Mitigate risks related to pricing inconsistencies, vendor reliability, and purchase agreements. Cross-Functional Coordination & Financial Alignment Collaborate with finance and sales teams to align pricing and cost strategies. Work with logistics teams to optimize inventory management and supply chains. Ensure real-time visibility into purchasing trends through data analytics. Reporting Pricing Benchmark Report – Competitive analysis of pricing across suppliers and market trends Procurement Cost Analysis Report – Evaluation of purchase costs, supplier discounts, and cost-saving opportunities Revenue & Margin Impact Report – Measures profitability impact of pricing strategies .
