Position: Senior Mechanical Engineer Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to oversee the maintenance, installation, and optimization of machinery used in the corrugated and carton box manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to ensure operational efficiency and equipment reliability. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery specific to corrugated and carton box manufacturing. Conduct root cause analysis of mechanical failures and implement effective solutions. Optimize production line efficiency through continuous process improvement and equipment upgrades. Monitor and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations. Collaborate with production and quality control teams to maintain high manufacturing standards. Manage mechanical engineering projects from concept to execution, including timelines and budgets. Prepare detailed reports on machinery performance, downtime analysis, and maintenance schedules. Train and mentor junior technicians and maintenance staff. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the corrugated/carton box industry. In-depth knowledge of corrugation machines, printing, slotting, die-cutting, and box-making equipment. Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure. Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Good communication and documentation skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with automation and PLC systems. Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices. Proficiency in CAD software and technical drawings.
