SAP PP (Production Planning), SAP PM (Plant Maintenance), and SAP QM (Quality Management)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1. Solution Design and Implementation:
- Translate business requirements into effective SAP PP/PM/QM solutions.
- Configure and customize SAP manufacturing modules to meet business goals.
- Participate in SAP implementations, upgrades, and S/4HANA migration projects.
2. System Support and Maintenance:
- Provide expert-level support for SAP PP, PM, and QM modules.
- Handle system incidents, debug issues, and ensure timely resolutions with minimal business disruption.
- Collaborate with SAP Basis and technical teams to ensure system performance and stability.
3. Manufacturing Process Expertise:
- Support core manufacturing processes such as
production planning, work center setup, capacity planning, shop floor control, preventive and breakdown maintenance, calibration processes, quality inspection, batch record management, and sampling
. - Deep knowledge of
integration between SAP PP/PM/QM and MM (materials), SD (sales), and FICO (costing)
processes.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with plant teams, engineers, and maintenance leads to understand ground-level challenges.
- Collaborate with finance, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure end-to-end process coverage.
5. Documentation and Training:
- Prepare functional specifications, process documents, test scripts, and training materials.
- Conduct end-user training and refreshers across manufacturing plants.
6. Continuous Improvement and Compliance:
- Identify and implement process improvements using SAP tools and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality, audit, and safety standards through digital SAP processes.
Competencies (skills & abilities)
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP PP, PM, and QM modules.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing business processes including discrete production, preventive maintenance, and quality control in a plant environment.
- Familiarity with MRP, capacity planning, production order execution, goods movement, equipment hierarchy, calibration, and inspection types.
- Working knowledge of batch management, subcontracting, goods receipt, and shop floor integration.
- Ability to write functional specs for custom developments and work closely with ABAP developers and integration teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of
IDocs, user exits, BAPIs
, and interface troubleshooting. - Experience working in
S/4HANA
environments is a strong plus. - Ability to work in a
global environment
across time zones and multicultural teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- SAP certification in SD, MM, or WHM preferred.
- Experience with transportation management, batch management, serial numbers, and inventory reconciliation is a plus.
- Exposure to tools like ServiceNow, JIRA, or Solution Manager for change and incident management.

- Proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks and deliverables.
- Ability to work effectively across time zones and with culturally diverse teams.
Education & Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in SAP logistics modules with a track record of successful implementations and support.
- Experience in global or multi-country SAP rollouts.
- SAP certifications in relevant modules (e.g., SD, MM, PP, etc.) are highly desirable.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Infrastructure and Network Teams: Ensure smooth SAP environment operations.
• Service Desk Teams: Provide end-user support and escalate SAP issues appropriately.
