Job Description

Role Responsibilities Manage the procurement process, from identifying suppliers to negotiating contracts. Analyze market trends to ensure purchases align with company needs. Maintain accurate inventory levels and facilitate stock audits. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers. Prepare and process purchase orders in a timely manner. Evaluate supplier performance and implement improvements. Source alternative suppliers where necessary. Collaborate closely with other departments for integrated purchasing strategies. Monitor shipments and ensure timely delivery of goods. Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data. Assist in budget preparation by forecasting purchasing needs. Resolve any discrepancies in orders or supplier issues promptly. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations in all procurement activities. Participate in risk management regarding vendor relationships. Provide regular reports on purchasing activities and savings. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement. Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and inventory management. Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Familiarity with budgeting and financial processes. Attention to detail and accuracy in order management. Ability to work effectively within a team environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach. Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance issues. Willingness to undertake continuous learning and professional development. Familiarity with e-procurement tools is a plus.
