Job Description

Title: Purchase Executive

Department: Purchase

Job Profile and Responsibilities

Prepare and place purchase orders for raw materials and laboratory consumables. Review purchase orders to ensure product cost, payment terms, product information, and delivery information are accurate.
Negotiate with domestic and international suppliers for order finalisation and Import raw materials through ocean freight.
Coordinate with sales and production teams to place orders as per weekly and monthly raw material planning.
Follow up with raw material suppliers on a regular basis to ensure shipment and delivery on promised dates.
Maintain physical and digital records of purchases and related documentation. Record price movements of key raw materials on a monthly basis.
Update the supplier register on a monthly basis to track raw material purchases.

Candidate Profile

Prior experience as a Procurement Executive in Chemicals/Pharma industry.
Graduate degree in Engineering/Science/Commerce .
Knowledge of procurement processes, policies and procedures including imports .
Ability to grasp technical specifications of chemicals and consumables.
Proficient in MS Office Programs, in particular Excel .
Good time management and organisation skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
