Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Initiation
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics.
- Prepare project plans, schedules, resource allocation, risk registers, and communication plans.
- Work with pre-sales and solutions teams on effort estimation and proposal reviews.
- Ensure all project prerequisites (SOW, contracts, access, tooling) are in place before kickoff.
- Execution & Delivery Management
- Lead the project team and manage day-to-day operations.
- Ensure timely delivery of milestones while maintaining quality and budget constraints.
- Conduct sprint planning, backlog refinement, review meetings, and daily stand-ups (if Agile).
- Manage change requests, scope variations, and client dependencies.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, QA, UX, and DevOps for smooth delivery.
- Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage client expectations through clear communication and transparency.
- Provide regular status updates, dashboards, and progress reports to leadership.
- Facilitate escalations, issue resolutions, and risk mitigation discussions.
- Project Tracking, Governance & Reporting
- Track progress using project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, AgileXL, MS Project, etc.).
- Monitor KPIs such as velocity, burn-down, resource utilization, financial metrics, and quality indicators.
- Maintain compliance with PMO standards, delivery frameworks, and documentation requirements.
- Ensure accurate timesheet, allocation, and invoicing visibility through coordination with RMG/Finance.
- Risk, Issue, and Quality Management
- Identify project risks early and develop mitigation plans.
- Handle escalations and proactively remove blockers for the team.
- Ensure deliverables go through appropriate testing, QA, UAT, and sign-off processes.
- Implement quality frameworks and ensure adherence to organizational standards.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Support team members in planning, prioritizing work, and managing workloads.
- Conduct performance feedback cycles for project teams (where applicable).
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement through retrospectives and learning opportunities.
Technical/Functional Skills
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in managing software development projects (Web, Mobile, Cloud, AI/ML, Data).
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with PM tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, AgileXL, MS Project, Confluence, etc.
- Good understanding of SDLC, DevOps, QA processes, and cloud concepts (Azure/AWS preferred).

- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

Education & Certifications (Preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, SAFe Agilist, or relevant certifications.
- Exposure to financial management, utilization tracking, or delivery operations is an added advantage.
