Role Overview:

We’re seeking a Product Manager to lead the evolution of our client's fundraising and payments platform. You will define and drive product strategy, balance user needs with business goals, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver exceptional donor and client experiences. The ideal candidate combines analytical rigor with empathy for nonprofit organizations and a passion for creating meaningful impact through technology.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Product Strategy & Market Insight

  • Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with client's mission and growth objectives.
  • Conduct ongoing competitive and market research to identify emerging trends, differentiators, and opportunities.
  • Translate market insights into actionable initiatives to strengthen product positioning.
  • Anticipate changes in industry regulations, data privacy, and payment standards, ensuring compliance and readiness.

2. Product Planning & Delivery

  • Translate strategic goals into clear product requirements, use cases, and success metrics.
  • Work closely with engineering, design, and QA to prioritize, scope, and deliver releases on time and at quality.
  • Maintain and groom the product backlog, balancing new features with technical debt and maintenance.
  • Use Agile/Scrum processes to plan sprints and track progress toward key milestones.

3. Customer & Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Engage with nonprofits, donors, and internal stakeholders to deeply understand needs and pain points.
  • Analyze usage data, customer feedback, and support tickets to guide feature prioritization and iteration.
  • Define and monitor KPIs such as donor conversion, engagement, retention, and transaction success rates.
  • Use A/B testing and analytics to validate hypotheses and optimize the product experience.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with engineering, marketing, and client success teams to ensure seamless product delivery and adoption.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align initiatives with broader organizational strategy.
  • Support sales and marketing in crafting product narratives, launch materials, and demos.
  • Act as the voice of the product, ensuring every department understands the “why” behind priorities.

5. Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Identify opportunities to improve usability, performance, and scalability of the platform.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, UX best practices, and AI/automation trends in fintech and nonprofit tech.
  • Drive a culture of experimentation, encouraging innovation in product workflows and features.

Qualifications:

  • 3–6 years of product management experience in SaaS, fintech, or fundraising platforms.
  • Strong understanding of digital payments, CRM systems, and donor engagement workflows.
  • Experience in competitive analysis and go-to-market strategy.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with Agile tools (Jira, Asana, Trello) and data analytics (Amplitude, Mixpanel, GA).
  • Passion for leveraging technology to support nonprofits and social impact initiatives.
