PMO- Senior Consultant

Provide necessary program/ portfolio/ project management support to project managers, which includes standardizing the project-related governance processes, supporting project resources, methodologies & tools.

Responsibilities:

• Project Governance:
  • Establish and run Project Management Operations for project teams using Agile and Waterfall delivery approach
    
  • Program level Risk management and prioritizing/ tracking across multiple workstreams.
    
  • Maintain RAID Log to assist project teams with the timely identification, management and resolution of risk, assumptions, issues and dependencies.
    
  • Drive work plan management across multiple projects
    
• Reporting and Metrics:
  • Monitor project metrics in terms of SLA/KPI reports/dashboards based on client governance model using tools like SNOW, JIRA, PowerBI
    
  • Create the required reports on the project such as WSR, MSR, QBR, in coordination with project leads and leadership, including elements such as schedule, risks, issues, changes, and dependencies
    
  • Support programs/ portfolio financials with respect to tracking budget, forecast, reconciliation and invoicing
    
• Support engagement leadership in developing effective PMO approaches, plans, and processes to deliver superior solutions
  
• Resource Lifecycle Management:
  • Drive project Orderboard and staffing by collaborating with resource managers and recruiters
    
  • proactively monitor demand forecasts to identify potential gaps early
    
  • Govern the end-to-end onboarding/offboarding process, maintain resource roster and other resource related processes such as odd hour allowances, timesheets reconciliation, R&R, PTOs, etc.
    
  • Contractors’ management
    
  • Drive employee engagement activities
    
• Automation and Process Standardization:
  • Demonstrate process innovation and thought leadership with respect to PMO processes
    
  • Generate ideas for process improvement/ optimization / efficiency gains and present the outcomes in a quantifiable manner.
    
  • Build/ apply skills on process automation including RPA tools, Power Automate etc.
    
  • Leverage firm assets and demonstrate thought leadership in coming up with smarter ways to drive value through utilities and accelerators for planning, tracking and reporting processes
    
• Others:
  • Drive CIMP compliance and tracking
    
  • Assist in project audit support activities like consolidation and verification of evidence documentation and other operational tasks on the ground
    
  • Support Leadership/ client calls by collating required inputs from the team to be presented during such calls
    
  • Accountability to take up ad-hoc tasks as required by leadership and complete the same with effectiveness and efficiency

Skills/ Qualifications:

• 
  Must haves:
  • A Bachelor's Degree
    
  • 6+ years of relevant experience
    
  • Advanced level of experience with MS Office - Excel, Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio
    
  • Advanced skills in JIRA, PowerBI, Remedy/Snow, Tableau, Smartsheet and advanced skills in SharePoint, Microsoft Project Plan (MPP)
    
  • Effective handling of highly sensitive, and often highly confidential, information using exemplary judgment, tact and diplomacy
    
  • Strong SDLC, Project Management experience using Agile and Waterfall methodology.
    
  • Deep understanding of Agile process and tools
    
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
    
  • Excellent written and verbal communication including effective interpersonal skills
    
  • Ability to work independently and lead multiple task assignments across workstreams
    
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, work simultaneously on multiple initiatives, and meet deadlines with highest level of quality
    
  • Ability to liaison with teams with varied expertise level (from Analysts to Sr. Managers), with different skillset (Architects, Developers, Testers, Business Analytics etc.), across different geographical locations

•
