Objective:
The successful candidate will work with an energetic and collaborative team at Sundyne’s office located in Pune, India. Planning Manager must be a motivated and organized person who is responsible for production planning, supply chain management, process optimization, team leadership, and expertise in planning of Rotating equipment. This requires competency in project planning, project specific QAP & requirement generation to supply chain, schedule management & controlling plan. Excellent communication and management skills with an ability to motivate and get on time product receipt from suppliers, stakeholders, manufacturing personnel and the entire project team. Ability to effectively work with international teams (Europe & US) & influence key decision makers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end production/material planning and scheduling for compressor & pump to meet customer demands and ensure on-time delivery.
- Develop and implement capacity planning strategies to optimize production resources and reduce lead times.
- Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to maintain optimal inventory levels and reduce excess stock.
- Manage the planning team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental KPIs, including cycle time, cost reduction, and quality control.
- Analyze production data and adjust plans as needed to meet fluctuations in demand while balancing production efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee the implementation of ERP systems and ensure accurate data tracking for better planning and reporting.
- Assisted in developing production schedules, coordinating with production, sales, project and engineering teams to align capacity with demand.
- Monitored daily activities to ensure adherence to schedules and addressed bottlenecks or delays in real time.
- Contributed to process improvement projects, resulting in a reduction in lead time and improved on-time delivery performance.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Minimum 20 years of planning, scheduling, controlling experience in pump & compressor industry.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, and effective follow up with required stake holders.
- Working knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures used in the oil and gas, chemical or related industry.
