Operations supervisor

Objectives of the Role·      Maintain constant communication within the team and motivate them ·      Customer site visits and build smooth communication with the customer’s POC and ensure customer satisfaction. ·      Planning, and executing all the orders received. ·      Establish and monitor quality assurance protocols to uphold company standards. ·      Ensure all operational activities are executed on time and within budget. ·      Bring in systems wherever necessary ·      Manage staffing needs, including hiring, onboarding, and training. ·      Drive continuous improvement to optimize performance and reduce costs. ·      Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and regulatory requirements. ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership ·      Lead, motivate, and support a large team in a time-sensitive, high-pressure environment. ·      Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance. ·      Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, resolve challenges, and align on objectives. ·      Oversee recruitment as per management-approved requirements. ·      Ensure each team member has clearly defined KRAs and understands their role. Process & System Optimization ·      Collect and analyze operational data to meet productivity targets, reduce costs, and improve service quality. ·      Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Finance) to streamline workflows. ·      Identify operational bottlenecks and implement effective solutions. ·      Monitor KPIs to assess performance and guide decision-making. Compliance & Safety ·      Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory standards. ·      Implement risk management strategies to minimize operational exposure. Inventory & Materials Management ·      Oversee inventory to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste. ·      Implement inventory systems for real-time tracking, reorder points, and supplier evaluations. ·      Conduct monthly stock audits and resolve discrepancies. ·      Negotiate with suppliers for cost-effective and timely procurement. Technical Operations ·      Supervise the maintenance of scent instruments and manage customer demos/installations. ·      Ensure timely recce and demonstrations as per customer requirements. ·      Oversee repairs and ensure all instruments are in peak working condition. ·      Maintain detailed logs of maintenance, repairs, and customer feedback for ongoing improvement. Team Management ·      Ensure smooth execution of daily operational tasks through proper planning. ·      Develop and deliver training programs to build team capability. ·      Conduct performance reviews and offer constructive feedback. ·      Allocate resources effectively to meet goals and deadlines. Reporting & Communication ·      Prepare and present regular reports on operations, key metrics, and improvement plans to senior management. SkillsTechnical/Operational ·      Strong management and leadership skills ·      Working knowledge of electrical systems / air conditioning systems ·      Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and related tools Soft Skills ·      Excellent organizational and planning abilities ·      Strong verbal and written communication ·      Proactive, solution-oriented mindset ·      Positive Attitude & Team work ·      Proactive
