We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in overseeing the end-to-end operations of our coffee machines and ingredient service business for corporate clients, ensuring smooth service delivery, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimising daily operations across multiple client sites, including service, supply chain, logistics, and maintenance activities. You will lead cross-functional teams to ensure high machine uptime, timely replenishment of ingredients, and adherence to quality and hygiene standards. You will also collaborate closely with other departments such as Procurement, Service, Finance, and Client Relations to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and drive profitability. This role requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced service environment. In addition, you will be responsible for monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), preparing operational reports for senior management, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Plan and manage monthly operations to ensure smooth service delivery, efficient supply chain management, and cost control.
Forecast demand for machines, ingredients, and manpower based on client portfolio growth.
Design and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all operational areas.
Analyse data to improve service coverage, turnaround times, and profit margins.
Oversee the end-to-end flow of ingredients from supplier to warehouse to client sites.
Ensure stock accuracy, demand forecasting, and timely deliveries.
Optimise logistics routes and warehouse operations to minimise cost per delivery.
Collaborate with procurement for supplier performance evaluation and cost negotiations.
Act as the bridge between departments: Service, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, and Sales.
Ensure smooth coordination for client onboarding, machine installations, ingredient supply, and billing.
Participate in monthly business reviews to align operational metrics with business goals.
Supervise service and maintenance functions indirectly through Service Managers/Area Supervisors.
Review machine uptime, SLA compliance, preventive maintenance performance, and resource deployment.
Ensure client satisfaction and retention by maintaining high operational standards.
Continuously assess and improve workflow efficiency, resource utilisation, and cost structures.
Standardise hygiene, safety, and machine maintenance protocols across all teams.
Prepare and monitor operational budgets (ingredients, manpower, logistics, spares).
Track cost per site, cost per cup, and service profitability.
Provide weekly/monthly MIS reports to management on operational KPIs.
Identify bottlenecks and recommend strategic actions.
Support management with data-driven insights for pricing, client proposals, and capacity planning.
Set performance goals, monitor KPIs, and conduct regular reviews.
Foster a culture of discipline, ownership, and service excellence.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Operations / Supply Chain / Business Management.
5-7 years of experience in service operations.
Strong analytical, planning, and leadership abilities.
Proficient in Excel / ERP / MIS tools.
Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, and Kannada.
