Role Overview

Operations Analyst


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Build and maintain

    real-time dashboards

    to track key business KPIs (MRR, ARR, churn, sales pipeline, campaign performance).
  • Analyze data to

    uncover trends, risks, and growth opportunities

    for leadership decisions.
  • Map

    end-to-end workflows

    across sales, marketing, finance, support, and product teams.
  • Identify

    bottlenecks, redundancies, and automation opportunities

    to improve efficiency.
  • Create and document

    Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

    for scalable growth.
  • Collaborate with tech teams to

    integrate automation tools

    (Zapier, n8n, custom systems).
  • Conduct

    cost-benefit analysis and ROI projections

    for new initiatives and tools.
  • Work directly with founders to

    forecast, plan, and execute operational strategies

    .
  • Drive

    cross-functional alignment

    by acting as the bridge between different teams.
  • Deliver accurate, actionable reports using

    Excel, SQL, Metabase, PowerBI, or Tableau

    .
  • Improve decision-making speed by

    reducing reporting lag and manual effort

    .
  • Monitor merchant churn, build predictive models, and recommend

    retention strategies

    .
  • Standardize reporting cadence with

    weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews

    .
  • Partner with Sales & Marketing to

    optimize funnels and measure campaign ROI

    .
  • Collaborate with Finance to

    streamline billing, collections, and revenue reporting

    .
  • Provide Product teams with

    data-driven feature prioritization insights

    .
  • Ensure

    high data accuracy

    across systems and dashboards.
  • Track and measure success using

    defined metrics

    (e.g., churn reduction %, reporting accuracy %).
  • Continuously

    iterate and improve processes

    to support company hyper-growth.


Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or related fields.
  • 2-4 years of experience in operations, business analysis, or consulting (SaaS/Tech preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and experience with BI tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate complex data into simple, actionable insights
  • Experience with SQL and data visualization platforms like Metabase or PowerBI.


Nice-to-Have:

  • Understanding of SaaS metrics such as MRR, ARR, DAU/WAU, and churn.
  • Exposure to process automation tools like Zapier or n8n.
