Job Title: National Sales Head – Lead-Acid Battery Division Location: Hyderabad, India Industry: Energy Storage / Battery Manufacturing Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Required: 10+ years in Sales Leadership (Battery/Automotive/Industrial sector preferred) Reports To: Managing Director / CEO Company Overview: We are a leading Lead-Acid Battery Manufacturing Unit based in Hyderabad , with a strong footprint across India . Our products serve automotive, industrial, and inverter applications with a commitment to quality, performance, and reliability. With an established dealer/distributor network across the country, we are poised for the next phase of brand expansion and market leadership . Position Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented National Sales Head to lead our pan-India sales operations. The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead an existing sales team , manage distributor/channel relationships , and scale the brand to new markets . This role demands a strong strategic mindset with an execution-focused leadership style. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute national sales strategies aligned with business goals. Identify new market opportunities and drive brand penetration. Build and implement effective sales incentive programs. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and grow the regional sales teams. Set targets, monitor KPIs, and ensure performance tracking and accountability. Organize regular training and development initiatives. Channel Management: Strengthen relationships with existing distributors and dealers. Expand channel network in under-penetrated regions. Oversee pricing, credit policies, and distribution margins. Customer Engagement: Build strategic relationships with key customers. Understand and respond to market trends and customer feedback. Ensure customer satisfaction and after-sales support alignment. Brand Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to execute brand-building initiatives. Represent the company at trade expos, industry events, and conferences. Business Analysis: Conduct competitor and market analysis. Prepare periodic business forecasts, sales reports, and strategic reviews. Ensure alignment with production and supply chain for demand planning. Desired Profile: Graduate in any discipline; MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred . 10+ years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in battery, energy, automotive, or electrical products . Proven success in managing large sales teams and distribution networks across India. Strong negotiation, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
