Role Overview: As a Unit Manager in the Business Excellence Team at MetLife, you will be responsible for utilizing your technical expertise in Lean Six Sigma methodologies, project execution, and various tools like Microsoft Power Platform, VBA Macros, Tableau, and RPA to drive operational excellence within the organization. Your role will involve identifying gaps, applying root cause analysis, and collaborating with stakeholders to provide innovative solutions. Additionally, you will play a key role in creating an efficiency-driven environment and fostering cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities: - Possess Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification and practical knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma methodologies - Utilize expertise in Microsoft Power Platform Tools, VBA Macros, Tableau, and RPA Tools for process improvement - Conduct training on green belt level Six Sigma concepts and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives - Demonstrate stakeholder management skills for effective collaboration and influence - Analyze operational data, identify areas for improvement, and implement innovative solutions - Foster a culture of efficiency and teamwork across different functions within the organization - Communicate effectively with senior leadership, business partners, and customers to drive business success Qualifications Required: - Minimum 8-10 years of total experience in operations and/or enabling functions - Strong analytical skills for estimation, capacity calculation, and predictive accuracy - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills - Decision-making ability with a focus on results and negotiation skills - Ability to develop relationships with internal and external clients and identify innovative business solutions - Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint About MetLife: MetLife, a Fortune magazine's "World's Most Admired Companies" and Fortune Worlds Best Workplaces, is a leading global financial services company offering insurance, annuities, employee benefits, and asset management solutions.
