Job Description

As a Unit Manager in the Business Excellence Team at MetLife, you will be responsible for driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives within the organization. You will leverage your technical skills, including Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification, applied knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, and experience in change management to lead projects aimed at enhancing quality and productivity. Your role will involve creating FMEA, Process Maps, VSM, and utilizing various quality tools at the Green Belt level. Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform Tools, VBA Macros, Generative AI, Tableau, and RPA Tools will be essential for data analysis and process optimization. Additionally, your expertise in MS Office, particularly MS Excel and PowerPoint, will enable you to deliver impactful training sessions on Six Sigma concepts. With 8-10 years of total experience, you will possess the ability to identify gaps, conduct root cause analysis, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement effective solutions. Stakeholder management, planning, and analytical skills are crucial for fostering innovation and driving operational excellence. Effective communication, project management, and interpersonal skills will be key to engaging with senior leadership, business partners, and customers globally. In addition to your technical and functional skills, you will demonstrate soft skills such as active listening, decision-making, and result orientation. Your proficiency in negotiation, problem-solving, and relationship building will contribute to finding creative solutions to business challenges. By developing strong relationships with internal and external clients, you will play a vital role in driving business success.
