Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Learning & Development Leader with expertise in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and evaluate training programs that enhance employee performance, compliance, and customer service excellence. This role involves collaborating with various departments to identify training needs and create solutions that support our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Needs Analysis:

    Conduct training needs assessments across the BFSI domain to identify skills gaps and development opportunities.
  • Program Development:

    Design, develop, and deliver engaging training programs, e-learning modules, and workshops that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance Training:

    Ensure all training programs meet legal and regulatory compliance standards specific to the BFSI sector, including but not limited to anti-money laundering (AML), know your customer (KYC), and financial regulations.
  • Performance Tracking:

    Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, making data-driven improvements as necessary.
  • Collaboration:

    Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to ensure training content is relevant, accurate, and applicable to the workforce.
  • Onboarding:

    Develop and facilitate onboarding programs for new hires to ensure they understand company policies, procedures, and industry-specific knowledge.
  • Continuous Learning:

    Promote a culture of continuous learning through workshops, seminars, and online resources that support professional development.
  • Technology Utilization:

    Leverage learning management systems (LMS) and other technology tools to enhance training delivery and tracking.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Learning & Development.
  • Proven experience in instructional design, training facilitation, and assessment methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using LMS platforms and e-learning development tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate).
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in Learning & Development (e.g., ATD, SHRM) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and training evaluation models.
  • Experience with data analysis to assess training effectiveness.
