We are seeking a results-oriented Inside Sales Manager (Individual Contributor) to drive revenue growth by owning sales performance end-to-end. In this role, you will engage with prospective learners, convert leads into enrollments, and manage your own sales pipeline through outbound and inbound communication channels. You’ll use consultative selling skills, effectively communicate value propositions, and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Proactively reach out to prospective learners via outbound calling, email, and digital messaging to generate and qualify leads.
Respond to inbound inquiries, understand customer needs, and recommend appropriate Instructo programs.
Engage in consultative selling by understanding learner goals and aligning them to relevant offerings.
Manage and maintain an individual sales pipeline in CRM software, ensuring accurate lead statuses and follow-ups.
Prepare and present customized proposals that clearly articulate program benefits and outcomes.
Achieve and exceed personal monthly and quarterly sales targets and conversion metrics.
Track and report key sales metrics and activities to leadership, using data to refine sales approach.
Collaborate closely with marketing to align outreach strategies and optimize lead quality.
Stay informed about market trends, competitive offerings, and industry developments to strengthen sales effectiveness.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Proven experience in inside sales, consultative selling, or a similar customer engagement role; EdTech experience is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex value propositions clearly.
Strong persuasion, negotiation, and objection-handling skills.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to manage time and priorities independently.
Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Prior experience in EdTech, online learning, or training program sales.
Familiarity with consultative sales processes, lead qualification, and pipeline management.
Success in this role will be measured by:
Achievement of individual sales quotas and revenue targets.
Quality and volume of qualified leads generated and converted.
Effective use of CRM for pipeline reporting and activity tracking.
Customer satisfaction and learner engagement outcomes.
