Human Resources Manager

Key Responsibilities

HR & Talent Management

• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and systems aligned with company goals.
• Drive end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and talent acquisition for tech and non-tech roles.
• Partner with leadership to identify manpower requirements and workforce planning.
• Manage performance review cycles, employee engagement and career development initiatives.

Payroll & Compliance

• Administer payroll, employee benefits, and statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, gratuity, etc.).
• Ensure adherence to labor laws, Shops & Establishment Act and HR-related regulations.
• Maintain HRIS/HRMS records and generate MIS reports for management review.

Administration & Culture

• Oversee office administration, vendor management, and facility management.
• Foster a positive work environment by driving employee engagement programs, wellness initiatives, and team-building activities.
• Act as the first point of contact for employee relations and grievance handling.

Strategic HR Initiatives

• Support leadership in building scalable HR frameworks for a rapidly growing GenAI startup.
• Align HR practices with business objectives to support high-growth and innovation.
• Lead diversity & inclusion initiatives to promote a collaborative workplace culture.

Desired Candidate Profile

• MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent qualification.
• 5–8 years of HR experience, preferably with exposure to IT/Tech/Startup environments.
• Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws, payroll management, and HR operations.
• Experience with HRMS tools (Zoho People, Keka HR, or similar).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and conflict-resolution skills.
