Job Description

Position: HR Manager Experience Required: 3–5 Years (preferably in the Insurance sector) Location: Hyderabad Salary Range: ₹8,00,000 per annum About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Manager to manage and drive the human resource functions in our insurance organization. The ideal candidate will have prior exposure to the insurance or financial services sector and will be responsible for recruitment, talent management, employee engagement, and compliance with industry-specific regulations. Key Responsibilities: Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Drive end-to-end recruitment for sales, operations, and support functions, ensuring alignment with the insurance industry’s talent needs. Develop strategies to attract agents, advisors, and back-office professionals essential to the insurance business. Design and conduct effective onboarding programs tailored to insurance products and services. Employee Engagement & Retention: Implement engagement initiatives specific to the sales-driven culture of the insurance sector. Identify retention risks, especially among frontline sales teams and high-performing advisors, and develop action plans to address them. Foster a positive, performance-driven environment across sales and support teams. Performance Management: Manage the performance review cycle, with a focus on target achievement, incentive plans, and sales force effectiveness. Collaborate with sales leadership to align KPIs, productivity measures, and growth objectives. Learning & Development: Identify training needs for both field and back-office employees, including regulatory certifications required by IRDAI. Coordinate with training teams to develop skill-building programs for agents, managers, and corporate staff. Compliance & HR Operations: Ensure HR policies and processes comply with labor laws and insurance industry-specific norms (such as IRDAI guidelines). Maintain and audit HR records, including background checks and certifications for insurance personnel. Oversee payroll, leave management, and statutory compliances for all employees. Strategic HR Initiatives: Partner with senior management to develop workforce strategies aligned with business goals. Contribute to organizational development initiatives, including culture-building and leadership development. Desired Candidate Profile: MBA/PGDM in HR or related field. 3–5 years of HR generalist/managerial experience in the Insurance or Financial Services sector is preferred. Strong knowledge of sales-oriented workforces and incentive-driven models. Understanding of IRDAI regulations, labor laws, and insurance industry practices. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. Proficiency in HRMS, MS Office, and reporting tools.
