Job Description

The HR Manager will be responsible for managing all HR functions including recruitment, payroll, employee relations, performance management, and training across all branches. The role also includes handling student placement coordination, ensuring compliance with institutional policies, and conducting HR audits at other branches. The ideal candidate should be organized, proactive, and capable of maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all times. Key Responsibilities: 1. Recruitment & Staffing: Handle end-to-end recruitment for faculty, administrative, and support staff. Coordinate with department heads to assess manpower needs. Conduct interviews, finalize offers, and complete onboarding documentation. Maintain an updated employee database and ensure timely renewal of contracts. 2. Payroll & Compliance: Prepare monthly payroll for all employees across branches. Ensure timely disbursement of salaries and accuracy of pay structure. Maintain confidentiality of salary details and enforce salary confidentiality policy. Manage statutory compliance such as PF, ESI and other related requirements. 3. Employee Relations & Discipline: Promote a positive work environment and address grievances effectively. Ensure adherence to organizational policies, attendance, and code of conduct. Handle disciplinary actions and documentation when required. 4. Performance Management: Implement and monitor staff performance appraisal systems. Coordinate with management to identify top performers and initiate reward programs. Support management decisions with performance-related data and analysis. 5. Training & Development: Identify training needs and coordinate faculty/staff development programs. Conduct induction and orientation programs for new employees. Encourage skill development and inter-branch knowledge sharing. 6. Student Placement Coordination: Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, logistics firms, airlines, and other industry partners for student placements. Coordinate student placement drives, internship programs, and follow up on employment opportunities. Maintain placement data and ensure regular reporting to management. 7. Branch Audits & HR Operations: Travel to other branches for HR audits, staff reviews, and policy enforcement. Ensure consistent HR practices across all locations. Collect and verify branch-level attendance, leave data, and operational compliance. 8. HR Administration & Reporting: Prepare HR reports for management on recruitment, payroll, attrition, and placement activities. Support management in policy updates and organizational planning. Ensure confidentiality and proper documentation of all HR-related files. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA in HR preferred). Minimum 2 years of experience in HR management, preferably in an educational or service sector organization. Experience in student placement coordination will be an added advantage. Key Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills. Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in MS Office and HR/payroll management tools. High sense of confidentiality, responsibility, and integrity. Willingness to travel to branches for HR and placement audits.
