We are a global leader in the supply chain execution market, focused on accelerating the transformation of digital supply chain for industrial and finished goods shippers and carriers by combining best-in-class solutions for challenges tied to yard management, shipment visibility, and asset management, across rail, truck, and multi-mode transportation.We are seeking a forward-thinking HR Generalist to support Kaleris’ largest employee site in India and partner closely with functional HR Business Partners across the business. This role provides critical operational and program support across employee relations, policy and compliance administration, India payroll and benefits, onboarding coordination, employee experience survey administration, and execution support for performance and compensation processes. The Generalist will collaborate with HRBPs to enable workforce initiatives, ensure strong compliance and governance, and help deliver consistent people programs across regions.Reporting to the Corporate/Sales HR Business Partner, this position ensures strong corporate alignment and governance for HR matters in India while contributing to cross-regional HR initiatives that support our global workforce. The responsibilities listed below represent the primary duties of the role and are not intended to be all-inclusive.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the regional HR point of contact for Kaleris’ largest employee site in India, providing day-to-day HR operational and employee relations support in partnership with HRBPs.
- Partner with cross-regional HRBPs to support employee relations actions, investigations, documentation, and follow-up activities.
- Provide coordination and administrative support across performance management and compensation processes, including documentation and employee communications.
- Manage policy administration and ensure compliance with Indian labor laws, statutory requirements, and internal governance standards.
- Provide primary operational ownership of India payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely processing in partnership with Finance and external vendors as needed.
- Lead India onboarding operations and support the execution of the global onboarding program, coordinating orientation logistics and partnering with TA, HRBPs, IT, and people managers to ensure consistent and positive onboarding experiences.
- Partner with HRBPs on employee exits, supporting documentation, system processing, communication coordination, and offboarding administration.
- Administer new hire integration (30/60/90) surveys and exit surveys globally, including collection, data consolidation, reporting, dashboard preparation, and insight sharing with HR BPs
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR transactional updates within Workday, ensuring data integrity and audit readiness.
- Escalate complex, high-risk, or sensitive employee relations matters to the HRBP as appropriate.
- Contribute to cross-regional HR initiatives that drive consistency, operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement of employee programs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
- Strong working knowledge of Indian labor laws, statutory compliance requirements, payroll processes, and employee benefits administration.
- Experience supporting HR operations within a global or multi-regional organization.
- Exposure to onboarding program coordination or employee experience initiatives.
- Comfort working with surveys, spreadsheets, reporting tools, and basic HR analytics.
- Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
- High attention to detail with strong execution and follow-through capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using Workday or other HRIS platforms preferred.
