Head of Human Resources (People & Admin)


Key Responsibilities

  • Own the People Engine:

    Design and lead the end-to-end People & Admin strategy for MNS Group – org structure, headcount planning, policies, and culture – aligned to business goals.
  • Build the HR Org:

    Create and manage a scalable HR team across Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, HR Business Partners, L&D/Engagement, and Administration/Facilities; define clear roles, processes, and KPIs.
  • Talent Acquisition & Employer Brand:

    Work with business leaders to forecast manpower needs; set up a robust hiring process (JD hygiene, interview loops, scorecards, SLAs), improve offer-to-join conversions, and strengthen our employer brand in banking/fintech/collections/risk ecosystems.
  • People Operations & Compliance:

    Own HR operations across the employee lifecycle – onboarding, contracts, HRIS, attendance/leave, payroll inputs, exits – while ensuring compliance with Indian labour laws, PoSH, and audit requirements.
  • Performance & Rewards:

    Design and implement a structured performance management framework (goal setting, reviews, feedback, PIPs) and collaborate with leadership to build fair salary bands, increment cycles, incentives and promotion criteria.
  • Admin & Facilities Management:

    Oversee office administration, facilities, housekeeping, security, vendor management, travel and event logistics to ensure a professional, efficient and compliant workplace across locations.
  • Change & Scale:

    Lead change management for new policies, systems and tools (HRIS, ATS, performance platforms); bring structure without killing speed in a founder-led, fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

  • 15–20 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5–7 years in a

    Head of HR / Head of People / Senior HRBP / People Ops Lead

    capacity, preferably in mid-sized or scaling organizations (200–500 employees).
  • Strong exposure to Indian HR practices and labour laws, with hands-on experience in

    HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Compensation & Benefits, and Employee Relations

    .
  • Demonstrated track record of

    building or transforming

    an HR function (not just maintaining one) – implementing policies, performance frameworks, HR systems, and scalable processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills; high maturity in handling confidential and sensitive matters.
