We are a high-growth bespoke luxury design firm specializing in custom-made interiors with in-house manufacturing capabilities. Our operations span across multiple departments, including carpentry, polishing, metals, stone, upholstery, and quality control. We aim to scale significantly in the coming years, with plans to centralize key functions like Finance, HR, and Procurement.
Job Overview:
The Head of HR will be responsible for leading and managing the entire HR function for the company, covering both the corporate office and manufacturing operations. This role requires a strategic leader who can build a robust HR infrastructure, support the company's growth plans, and foster a high-performance culture. The role combines leadership, operational HR management, and strategic human resource planning, making it a pivotal position in the company's expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic HR Leadership:
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's growth goals and vision.
Partner with senior leadership to shape organizational structure and workforce planning for scalability.
Drive initiatives to build a strong employer brand and attract top talent.
2. Talent Acquisition & Management:
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies across both design and manufacturing teams.
Create and manage career development programs, succession planning, and performance management systems.
Lead efforts in attracting skilled artisans and designers as per business needs.
3. Workforce Planning & Analytics:
Leverage HR analytics to provide insights and recommendations on workforce trends, productivity, and engagement.
Develop workforce planning strategies to meet current and future business demands in both creative and manufacturing roles.
4. Employee Relations & Culture:
Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with the company’s values and brand ethos.
Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
Manage conflict resolution, employee grievances, and performance improvement programs.
5. Compensation & Benefits:
Develop and manage competitive compensation, incentive, and benefits packages for employees at all levels, from factory workers to senior design professionals.
Ensure compensation strategies are aligned with industry standards and budget considerations.
6. Learning & Development:
Create and implement L&D programs to upskill employees in design and manufacturing roles.
Identify training needs and opportunities for both leadership and operational teams.
7. Compliance & HR Policies:
Ensure compliance with all labor laws, industry standards, and internal policies.
Continuously review and update HR policies to ensure they are competitive and compliant.
8. HR Operations:
Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including payroll management, employee benefits, HRIS, and attendance management.
Implement and manage efficient HR processes and tools to support employee lifecycle management.
9. Health, Safety & Wellbeing:
Partner with manufacturing and design teams to ensure health and safety standards are met.
Lead wellness and wellbeing programs for employees across different business units.
Key Requirements:
MBA in HR or related field with 8-12 years of experience in HR leadership roles, preferably within manufacturing, or furniture design sectors.
Proven ability to manage HR operations across both creative and technical/manufacturing environments.
Strong expertise in talent acquisition, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
Experience with HR analytics and using data to drive decision-making.
In-depth knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and employee relations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on scaling and growth.

Pay: ₹1,800,000.00 - ₹2,286,047.46 per year
