Role Description:

Founding Member – Outbound Sales Head


This is a founding team role, ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-ambiguity startup environments, and is ready to own the outbound growth engine 0–1. You will be the driving force behind acquiring our first customers, refining outbound strategies, and setting up scalable sales systems that fuel future growth. You won’t just be “doing sales” — you’ll be laying the foundation of OrderEye’s GTM playbook, experimenting with outbound tactics, and proving traction in the Quick Commerce, FoodTech, Grocery, and E-commerce industries.



Note Before Applying:

  • This role is equity-based (up to 2%) and not salary-based until funding.
  • Requires strong experience in Outbound Sales, Lead Generation, Pipeline Building, SaaS Sales Development, and 0–1 GTM motion.
  • This is a full-time remote role.
  • This is an IC role, not a team management role, as we are an early-stage startup.
  • Do you have experience selling to Quick Commerce, FoodTech, Grocery, or E-commerce businesses?
  • Do you have experience in setting up outbound motion and GTM playbooks from scratch (0–1)?
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, hustle-first attitude, and hands-on experience in startup environments is a must — otherwise, it won’t be a fit.
  • This is not your typical “manager” role. It’s for someone who is hands-on, data-driven, customer-obsessed, and knows how to take SaaS products from zero to traction, then scale fast.
  • Bachelor’s or MBA degree

What You'll Do:

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify, research, and qualify potential leads across targeted industries (e.g., restaurants, grocery stores, D2C brands).
  • Build high-quality outbound prospect lists using tools like Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other databases.
  • Segment leads by industry, size, geography, and buyer persona for personalized outreach.


2. Cold Outreach Execution

  • Create and execute cold outreach campaigns across email, LinkedIn, Cold calls, and social media.
  • Write compelling email sequences, LinkedIn messages, and call scripts that convert.
  • Follow up consistently with prospects to nurture interest and secure meetings.


3. Pipeline Building & Nurturing

  • Drive top-of-funnel pipeline by booking qualified meetings and demos for Account Executives or founders.
  • Manage CRM entries, lead stages, and notes to keep sales pipeline clean and trackable.
  • Use automation tools to scale outreach while maintaining personalization.


4. Outbound Strategy & Optimization

  • A/B test subject lines, messaging, cadences, and formats to increase open, reply, and booking rates.
  • Analyze campaign metrics like open rates, response rates, and conversion rates to iterate and improve.
  • Identify the most effective channels and refine strategies to scale outbound success.


5. Collaboration & Feedback Loops

  • Work closely with Founders to align on messaging, buyer personas, and campaign goals.
  • Provide market feedback on prospect pain points, objections, and buyer trends.
  • Collaborate with the product or growth team to refine value propositions based on prospect conversations.


6. CRM & Reporting

  • Maintain up-to-date records in CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.).
  • Report weekly on KPIs such as number of outreach activities, meetings booked, and conversion rates.
  • Track activities and results to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.



What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in B2B SaaS/Tech startup sales development & outbound sales leadership, ideally with exposure to Restaurants, Quick-commerce, or E-commerce industries.
  • Strong track record of building and scaling outbound sales functions from scratch, including designing and executing sales playbooks.
  • Hands-on expertise in cold outreach (Email, LinkedIn, Calls), pipeline generation, and lead qualification.
  • Deep understanding of quick commerce, food tech, grocery, or e-commerce industries (preferred).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a “hustle-first, excuses-never” approach – thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced startup environments.
  • Strong ability to craft outbound strategies, optimize cadences, and coach SDRs/BDRs for performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to hit aggressive pipeline & revenue targets while experimenting and iterating fast.
  • Bonus: Experience in building sales teams, early-stage GTM playbooks, or exposure to fundraising/investor relations.
